Y/n POV:

"Forward marching, here we go," I slightly sing as I open the door to Hagihara Drums, arriving a few minutes before my shift would start. I was surprised the shop door was unlocked since the store didn't open until 9, but assumed it was because they hadn't given me a key. "Members of the agency-" I continue before I'm cut off by a familiar deep voice interrupting me as its owner runs towards me.

"BA-KU-GO!!" Haruto yells as he jumps at me, trying to repeat the same 'incident' that happened on Monday. I quickly slide to the left, making him miss me as he hits the floor with a thump. "Uughhh" he groans as I lightly kick his limp form, feeling no sympathy whats so ever for him. Today, he wears the same red hoodie he was wearing on my first day as he has ripped black jeans on his legs, some chains sticking out from underneath his floppy body.

Looking over to the customer service desk, I see Masahiro approach the two of us, a disappointed look plastered on his face, almost making me laugh as I look back down at his son laying on the ground. "Uh oh, Iida, looks like Aizawa got upset with you for running inside," I say before chuckling, proud of myself for coming up with a quick quip.

Once Masahiro reaches the two of us, he stops beside me as he joins me in staring at the owner of the store, who hadn't moved one muscle since he crash-landed. Masahiro lets out a sigh and shakes his head, obviously dispirited by his child. "Look what you've done, Y/n, his last words will now be the name of a sixteen-year-old anime boy with anger issues and a superiority complex. What a shame," he 'seriously' says as I turn my head to look at the older man.

"I suppose it's better than what I plan to use as my last words," I tell him, making him lift his head as he looks at me with a new-found interest in what I was saying.

"And what would those be?" he asks, sounding serious, almost making me crack out in laughter about what I planned to say. I fight back the urge to widely smile as I put on a neutral-looking face.

"I can totally outrun that lion, what are you talking about?" I tell him before breaking out in laughter. As I begin to wheeze like a car engine, I see Masahiro chuckle, a smile present on his face. Hearing muffled laughter coming from below me, I look down and see Haruto's chest quickly moving up and down in short breaths as he continues to laugh, bringing a smile to my face. "I revived him, you're welcome," I say to Masahiro as Haruto begins to stand up.

"You should've just let him stay dead, it would've been better for everyone," Masahiro tells me as Haruto finally stands up, towering over the both of us. A few seconds of silence pass before Haruto decides to speak.

"You're balding, old man" he agitatedly says to his father while pointing at him. Masahiro quickly moves his hand to hit his son, aiming for Haruto's bottom but misses as the tall boy jumps behind me. "HA! Take that! I have a human shield and you have nothing, you short man!" he laughs as he slightly cowers behind me, making me look up at him with a partially annoyed look on my face.

Masahiro's face goes from one of agitation to a neutral one before I see a smirk form on his lips. My eyes widen as the smirk begins to evilly form, remembering back to when I first met Haruto, the same smirk striking fear into my heart. However, Masahiros was eviler, making me quickly realize Haruto had learned it from his old man. I slightly back into Haruto, scared of what would happen if I stood any closer to the previous owner of the store.

Slowly, Masahiro turns around and strolls over to the service counter as he heads to the backroom. I confusedly stand in place, not knowing what was in the backroom that would make Masahiro smirk so evilly before I feel Haruto quickly move from behind me and run to his father, reaching him a few strides as he grabs the shorter's shoulder.
