A/N: Spending the break with your boyfriend and his family, you didn't expect to end in this situation

3rd POV:
While the rest of the Weasley family along with Harry, Tonks and Remus sat downstairs, Ron and his girlfriend Y/n were settled in his room. "See Ron this is what you get when you eat too much." Y/n joked as she sat at his desk while Ron was laying on his bed half awake.

"Not true." He grumbled.

"You take a nap after meals everyday." Y/n replied. "But I'm okay with it, it's an extra cuddle time."

"If you want cuddles then why are you over there?" Ron lifted up onto his elbows.

"Not sure." She shrugged and jumped on top of him. The two of them just stared into each other eyes and started laughing for no reason.

"I love you, you know." Ron brought his hand up to caress her cheek.

"I love you too." Y/n kissed the tip of his nose.

"I really don't want to ruin this moment, but I have to go to the bathroom." Ron snorted.

"Just go, I'll still be here." Y/n pushed him out of bed. Ron exited the room and made his way downstairs towards the bathroom.

Ron stopped halfway down the stairs, something felt off in the house, he couldn't put his finger on it. He continued down to the first floor where the rest of his family was forgetting about the bathroom. Ron peered out of the window and saw black smoke surround the house. The whole Weasley family gasped. Tonks and Remus took to the door and opened it to see Bellatrix Lestrange standing outside of the house smirking, creating a ring of fire around the house.

"I killed Sirius Black, I killed Sirius Black." She laughed and ran towards the forest and Harry instantly followed, Ginny ensuite and Arthur going after his daughter.

Everything happened so fast. The Weasley's were all concerned for Arthur, Harry, Ginny, Tonks and Remus, Molly didn't see Greyback and Bellatrix come back breaking through the glass and setting the Burrow on fire.

"Everyone out." Molly yelled grabbing Ron and the twins. Arthur came running back to see their house gone.

"Is everyone alright?" Arthur asked. Everyone seemed to be okay, Ron looked to his side for Y/n but she wasn't there. She looked at his family and she wasn't there.

"Y/n." Ron yelled and no response. She wasn't there, she wasn't outside. Ron looked at his family one more time before taking off but inside the Burrow.

"Ron." Fred yelled trying to grab his arm but just slipped through. Arthur had to hold back Fred to not go in with him.

"Y/n!" Ron yelled as he started to run up back up the stairs to his room.

"Ron! Is that you?" She yelled back.

"Y/n." He exhaled when he saw her at the top of the stairs. "Come on, we got to go."

"Ron, I think my ankle's broken." She looked down at her foot.

"It's alright." He wrapped her shoulder around him and the two tried to make it out as fast as possible.

From the smoke, by the time they made it to the porch, Ron became quite heavy, the last thing he remembered was Y/n calling out his name before everything went black.

"Oww." Ron groaned as he opened his eyes adjusting to the bright light above him. He saw figures standing and seating near him but couldn't really get a clear image of them yet.

"Ron." Someone squeezed his right hand. He knew that voice, he loved that voice.

"Y/n/n?" He said groggily.

"I'm right here." She squeeze his hand again. "How are you feeling?"

"My head hurts?" He situated himself to sit up a bit more. "Mum, dad?"

"Ron." Molly sighed in relief. "You're okay."

"Gave us quick the shock." Arthur looked at his son.

"What happened, the last thing I remembered was everything going black." Ron said.

"Um, Bellatrix came and set the Burrow on fire and I was still inside and you came back in to get me and fainted from all the smoke on the porch." Y/n explained.

"Are you alright?" Ron asked alarmed looking at his girlfriend.

"Just a broken ankle, I'll be fine." She brought up their knitted fingers up to her lips and kissed his knuckles.

"How long was I out?" Ron looked at his parents.

"2 days." Arthur answered.

"Where's Ginny, Fred and George?" Ron kept with the questions.

"They went to go get some food, they'll be back up in a minute." Molly answered.

"One more step." Ron helped Y/n up the stairs of Grimmauld Place, now in possession, Harry let the Weasley's stay there. While the rest of the Weasley children returned to school, both Y/n and Ron stayed.

"Ron you know you don't need to do this, I got it." Y/n looked at him.

"I know, I just don't want to leave you." Ron frowned a bit. Since the accident, he never really left her side, he felt kind of guilty that she was still stuck in the house while everyone had already left.

"Hey, look at me." She cupped his face. "You need to stop blaming yourself, this wasn't your fault, it was Bellatrix, you didn't start the fire. You need to be praising yourself, you ran back in to save me."

"Yeah." Ron sighed.

"I love you, okay." She reassured.

"I love you too." He smiled.

"Now, I think there is a bathtub calling our names." She smirked bringing her hands down.

"I think there is." Ron grabbed her hand and walked towards the bathroom.
