A/N: You and Theo watch your son Archie who has way too many emotions, more than you two had when you were children.
Dad!Theo

Y/n POV:
It always found it weird how emotional Archie was. He expressed many emotions I never knew I existed until I was a teenager. Both Theodore and I were brought up in high class pureblood families and didn't learn many emotions. We were taught to mask them and never show it.

Archie is the complete opposite. But I was happy that he was able to have a happy childhood and run around with Scorpius. Scorpius was also like Archie, both energetic kids. I think they learned it from Dahlia and Fred's son. The three boys were best friends they learned how to express emotions from him.

"Hello Y/n." Draco gave me a side hug.

"Hi." I said.

"Where's Archie and Scorpius?" He asked.

"Playing tag with Theodore outside." I replied as I started to clean up the plates from dinner. "It's so weird watching them."

"Why is that?" Draco raised an eyebrow.

"We were never like that. Our parents raised us the complete opposite, masking emotions, never expressing it. But with those two, have feelings over everything. I remember when Archie's goldfish died and he cried for 2 days straight, and we had a funeral for him. There is now a graveyard next to my flowers." I laughed.

He tried stifle his laugh but he let it out anyways. We grown into our emotions after the war. It was quite late in life, but we had it. "I'm sorry, that's just funny."

"It is, Theo and I tried so hard not to laugh during his eulogy." I answered. "I don't even know how he knows what a eulogy is."

"He's a smart kid." Draco reminded. He wasn't wrong, Archie was bright for his age. Theo and I thought we should send him to private muggle school, he's in his first year. Bars above the rest.

"Uncle Draco!" Archie came running in with Scorpius and Theo.

"Hey buddy." He picked him up. "Did you have fun with Scorpius."

"Yea, we played tag and rolled in mud." Archie smiled.

"I think you two need a bath." I said. "C'mon you little rascals." I took the two up to the bathroom.

"Y/n, let me do it, spend time with Theo." Draco grabbed them leaving Theo and I.

"Hello my love." He wrapped an arm around me.

"Hi." I laid my head on his shoulder.

"What's going on in your pretty head?" He asked.

"Do you find it weird watching Archie grow up. I mean we never like this, and him showing his emotions in everything, makes me happy that he might have a normal childhood compared to ours." I said.

"At first when he was a bit younger, it was scary how one person could have so many feelings." Theo started. "But I'm happy that he can truly express how he is."

"Do you think he'll be put into Slytherin?" I asked. Both of our families came from long lines of Slytherins.

"At this moment, I'm not sure, but I know any house would be lucky to have him. He has a great mind and kind soul. He wouldn't hurt a fly." Theo answered.

"I know, there is a tomb stone next to my flowers." I laughed.

"What, I suggested we flush him down the loo, and had a temper tantrum and didn't talk to me for like 3 days." Theo replied. Archie had a split personality, he was sweet and gentle like Theo, but had my anger issues at times, not the best combo, but it's something.

"Okay bud, say bye to Scorp and Uncle Draco." I told Archie.

"Bye Scorp." The two hugged each other for quite some time. "Bye Uncle Draco."

"What do you want for dinner Arch?" Theo asked once they left.

"Mac and cheese!" He exclaimed running towards the kitchen. The kid could eat, day and night, we had to lock the cabinets with spells so he wouldn't run in and take everything.

"You've been eating mac cheese for the past three days buddy." Theo looked a bit concerned.

"This the last day I promise." He pleaded, and he said that for the past two days.

"Okay." I gave in.

After dinner, Theo gave Archie a bath and put him to sleep and slipped into the room where I was already in bed, reading a book. He walked over to the dresser pulling out a pair of pajamas pants and changing. Once he finished he climbed into bed next to me and laid his head on chest.

This was a nightly thing, usually I was the first one in bed so when he would come in, I would usually read to him and we would go to bed.

"Mommy, daddy?" We heard a small whisper. We looked at the door to see Archie rubbing his eyes stu his stuffed animal.

"What's wrong baby?" I set my book down.

"I had a nightmare." He sniffed.

"Here, come lay with mommy and daddy." Theo said. He ran over immediately and sat in between the both of us.

"Do you want mommy to read you a story?" Theo asked.

"No, I want a real story." Archie replied.

"Okay, how about the boy who fought the dragon?" I asked.

"No I already know that one." He huffed, the kid was stubborn. "A story where you and daddy met."

"Okay." I laughed.

"Well, it started when we went to Hogwarts." Theo started.

"Will I go to Hogwarts?" He looked at us.

"When you're older." I reminded. We didn't keep magic a secret from him, we gave him little previews.

"Back to my story." Theo continued. "Daddy had a crush on mommy, but she was older than him and didn't really like him at first..."
