Chapter 2

Danny POV

Maria is trippin! She really took my phone! I guess I gotta go to this childish ass treehouse and talk to Aaliyah. Aaliyah was walking in front of me and was looking fine as hell from the back. She climbed the ladder giving me a perfect view beneath her. We reached the top of the tree house and walked inside. Everything was dusty.
"It stinks!" Aaliyah said while covering up her nose.
"It's that." I said pointing to two sandwiches, we used to eat up here all the time and hide snacks. Aaliyah picked up the toy ring I gave her off the floor and said "Remember the first time I broke up with you." While laughing.
"Yeaa, you was over reacting." I said laughing.

Flashback

"It's over!" Aaliyah said throwing her ring on the floor
"Please Aaliyah! I'm sorry for playing with her in the pool."
"No! From now on I will never talk to you! Your a meanie!" She said while running back in the house.

Flashback over

Aaliyah POV

I was looking around the tree house reminiscing on old Times with Danny.
"Remember this." He said holding up the fake rose pea deals and fake candles. I sucked my teeth and smiled. The night we lost our virginity, he set up the tree house with candles and rose pedals. I pulled out my phone, Maria took my phone but little does she know I have an emergency one that my father got me. I stared texting my friend. I looked up and Danny was texting on a different phone.
"C'mon kids!" Maria yelled. I put my phone In the floor at the tree house and climbed down with Danny right behind me. "We are going to a church house for dinner so get dressed nicely." Maria said. "Can I stay here." I whined. "No and hurry up" She said handing my a black dress and handing Danny a suit. I ran upstairs and took a shower and put my clothes on with my gold heels. The dress that Maria gave me was tight and it hugged my curves. Maria probably didn't know that the dress would fit like this, I guess she was expecting it to fit baggy. I walked out to Maria's room to ask for her approval and she pulled my dress down to try to make if longer. I walked out of her room and bumped into Danny.
"Sorry Liyah" He said holding my waist.
"It's Ok." I said holding his chest. We were looking into eachother's eyes and was close to kissing but Maria called him into her room to see his outfit. We stepped away from eachother and went separate ways. After she approved his outfit we all got into the car.
"Shot gun." He yelled running to the car. I pushed him trying to run in my heels but he made it there before me.
"Some things will never change." Maria said laughing.
I got in the back and Danny wanted to sit next to me so he ended up sitting in the back. Maria was flicking through radio channels and Danny and I heard our song. I took off my seatbelt and reached over to change back. Danny started rapping to 'Hot Nigga' and I started twerking in my seat because they were doing a remix to it. Maria changed to a Christian song and Danny and I sucked our teeth and just spoke to one another. Danny put his hand on my leg and I grabbed his hand and moved it.
"You know you wanted me ever since we were kids." He whispered in my ear. I covered my face because I was blushing.
"We're here." Maria announced parking the car. I got out the car and walked beside Danny into the church house.
"Hello Maria is this Aaliyah and Daniel?" Maria's friend Sonia asked.
"Yess." Maria said smiling.
"You guys got soo big." Sonia said hugging us at the same time. "Michael and Stacey get down here."
Sonia yelled to her son and his friend that we used to play with. "AALIYAH" Stacey said running up to me giving me a hug but I didn't hug back, instead I gave her a blank look.
Danny chuckled at my facial expression and didn't say anything to them either.
"Maybe they could come over sometime." Maria said on purpose. Sonia agreed and we sat down at the table. I sat next to Michael and Danny sat next to Stacey. "You guys would look so cute together." Sonia said smiling at Michael and I.
"I don't go out with church boys, I go out with THUGS" I said as Danny laughed. Maria pinched me under the table and I pushed my lips together so that I wouldn't make noise.
"What about you guys?" Sonia said pointing to Danny and Stacey. "Umm no thanks." Danny said looking disgusted. I laughed but when Maris looked at me I stopped laughing.
"Sonia I think it's time for us to leave." Maria said getting up.
"You just got here." Sonia said.
"It's time for the kids bed time." Maria said while Danny and I was looking at her like she was crazy. "Well I guess I will see you tomorrow." Sonia said as we left the house.
"I can't believe how immature you guys were acting!!" Maria said in the car while driving. I was mimicking her and Danny was too causing us both to laugh. Maria just shook her head and laughed too. I actually was having fun.
