Kade was waiting for me at the building's main door with a cup of coffee in hand as soon as I arrived. He's in a three piece suit and he's wearing it well. Kade's sporting a new haircut and it looked good on him. Bukod sa bagong gupit at bagong suit na suot-suot niya ay ganoon pa rin naman ang itsura niya.

He checked his leather watch before scanning the crowd, probably looking for me. A smirk immediately found its way on my lips as soon as his eyes found mine. His brow raised when he got the chance to check me out. My shoulder length short hair was curled and I'm wearing a decent-looking dress, matching it with an expensive charcoal blazer. I know I look better than good. I made sure of it.

"Look at you," pinasadahan ulit ako ng tingin ni Kade mula ulo hanggang paa bago sumipol at ngumisi. "Are you trying to capture a man's heart?"

Inabot ni Kade ang coffee at kinuha ko naman iyon na nakataas ang isang kilay. "And so? What if I am?"

Kade grinned. "Well, then you're doing a banging job."

"Gusto mo lang ng pasalubong, eh." I scoffed.

"Maxie, kiss mo lang, solve na ako." pumikit-pikit pa sa akin si Kade at mapaglarong nginuso ang mga labi niya. He mashed his lips together before popping it like he was wearing a lipstick.

"Buhos ko kaya 'tong kape sayo nang magising ka?"

Kade pouted, playing a somber look on his face. Mukha tuloy siyang aso na gumagawa ng puppy dog eyes. He looks stupid. "You hurt me, Maxie."

"And I'll hurt you more kapag hindi ka tumigil." I squited my eyes at him and Kade got rid of the pout and began chuckling.

"You're extra mean today, too. Monthly period?"

"Ewan ko sayo!" tinulak ko ang braso ni Kade para lampasan siya. Narinig ko ang pag halakhak ni Kade bago sumunod sa akin papasok ng building.

Kade is in a different floor since he's in a different department. I'm on the top floor which is the eighteenth. I'm the CEO's executive assistant and the CEO is on the top floor. This is our first day of OJT. I'm thrilled because I don't know what to expect. This is the first time that I'll be reporting to work at wala pa akong background sa mga tasks ko as the executive assistant.

The CEO's office was separated from the room by a large glass divider. It wasn't transparent but it wasn't the two-way mirror type. There's a person sitting on the table near the door leading to what I think is the office.

"Good morning," I called for the woman's attention. I tried my best to sound polite. It burns me to be nice but if I want to make this OJT work, then I need to be professional and work on my social skills.

Napatayo ang babae nang makita ako. Lumakad ako papalapit at ganoon rin naman ang ginawa niya. She looks like she's in her early thirties. The woman smiled at me and offered me her hand, so I accepted it. "You must be Maxwell Ynarez? I'm Stella Peres, Mr. Herrera's former executive assistant."

"It's nice to meet you, Ms. Peres." she smiled again before releasing my hand.

"Nasabi na sa akin ni Mr. Herrera na may temporary replacement ako since I'll be taking my maternity leave." agad na bumaba ang mga mata ko sa tyan niya. Hindi ko napansin na bahagyang may umbok doon. Napansin ata niya na nakatingin ako sa tyan niya kaya nagsalita siya ulit. "One month pregnant pa lang ako, kaya hindi pa siya masyadong kita."

I averted my eyes from her stomach and looked at her face. "Congratulations."

"Thank you." she paused when I didn't say anything. Siguro nararamdaman na niya na hindi warm ang personality ko. "So, I'll introduce you first to Mr. Herrera, pagkatapos ituturo ko na sayo ang duties and responsibilities mo as the CEO's executive assistant."
