Chapter 8

I woke up feeling no one next to me.

But a note.

"Sorry but I had rehearsals at 7:30. I will be there at 11:00 to pick you up for our date.

I looked at the digital clock sitting on the nightstand next to my bed.

10:30

"CRAP." I yelled loudly, waking up Gabby.

"Sorry I said quietly as she rolled her eyes.

I walked over to the bag Gabby packed me, when me and Ross were gone. I pulled out a tee shirt, black denim shorts, and white flip flops.

I went to the bathroom, changed, brushed my hair and teeth, and did my makeup.

In 30 minuets. Might be a new record.

Only when I want to see Ross.

For some reason I'm just REALLY excited to see Ross.

Suddenly I receive a text.

Ross: I will be there in a few.

Me: Okay. (:

Me and Gabby were talking about life until we heard a knock on the door.

I walked over to open it.

When I opened the door.. A pizza guy was standing there.

"Oh yea I ordered pizza." Gabby told me.

"Um yea I see that." I said and laughed.

"I'm glad it wasn't Ross because I forgot my swimsuit." I said feeling stupid.

Really? Were going to the beach and I forgot to pack my swimsuit. Wow.

Then we heard a knock on the door. Again.

"I'm pretty sure thats Ross." Gabby said sounding determined.

I opened the door. This time it WAS Ross.

"I'm sorry for slipping off this morning. My dad would get mad if I was late." He said apologizing.

"Oh no it wasn't a big deal." I said as I stepped out into the hallway.

"Ok you sure?" asked Ross sounding concerned.

"Yes Ross." I reassured him.

"Okay" he said as we walked into the elevator.

I was silence. Again.

I have a feeling Ross sensed that too.

So he leaned in for a kiss.
