Izuku is a boy born to Inko and Toshinori Yagi who wanted to be a Hero for as long as he can remember. However when he goes to the doctors with his twin sister Izumi Yagi he is diagnosed as 'Quirkless'. After this all of his friends (Shoto, Shoka, Izumi, Katsuki and Katsumi) all start bullying him because he is quirkless and Inko and Toshinori both neglect him because of the attention they show Izumi (They don't ignore him on purpose). Years later he goes missing and is presumed to have either killed himself or ran away after a Journal of his telling of his daily lifeis found and read by Inko.
