"Did we really have to start this on the day on Homecoming?"

"I didn't call you in here for tutoring. I called you in to tell you the rules. Next week, we dive right in. Kehlani gave me your schedule and I was able to-"

"You talked to Lani?"

"Can you focus? I was able to put together a tutoring schedule for—"

"You're pretty"

Kayla stopped talking and slowly looked up at him "What?"

"I said you're pretty"

"W-What does that have to do wit—"

"It doesn't. I was just letting you know" Odell shrugged his shoulders

"Okay, rule number 1, don't get off topic. If you have question, wait until I'm finished talk—"

"Are you going to homecoming?"

"Oh my god" Kayla groans "I'm literally begging you, please stop talking"

"Answer the question and I won't interrupt anymore"

Kayla sighed, knowing he wasn't gonna stop "Fine. I'm not going"

"Why?"

"I-I don't know...It's not my thing I guess"

"It's every girls thing" he chuckled

"Well not this girl" she mumbled

"I think you wanna go"

"I don't"

"You do. You just don't have anybody to go with"

"Okay, session over" Kayla stood up and started collecting her stuff

"Not until you admit it" he stood up and blocked her way

"You are so childish"

He shrugged his shoulders

"Fine...I guess I want to go but it doesn't matter"

"Come with me"

"What?"

"I said—"

"I know what you said. Why would I go to home coming with you?"

"Because you don't have anyone to go with. You can come with me and my friends"

"Please stop"

"Stop what?"

"Stop this act. This nice guy act that you have going on. Just drop it. Odell, we've met like thousand times and every single time, you forget my name and I look like. You don't care about anyone that not in your little circle. You're self centered and I'm going to homecoming with you" She moved around him and walked out of the library
