Forever and Always

Chapter 10

Lets all remember that when thranduil and Irethia were last together Thranduil proposed, but Irethia didn't get to answer.

-Thranduil's P.O.V-

The doors to my throne room opened, and I looked up to see Sellion and... Irethia!? I stood up from my throne. "I-Irethia?" this came out as no more than a whisper.

Tears started to roll down her face. I ran down the stairs and she started to run to me.

-Irethia's P.O.V-

I jumped into his arms and cried.

"T-thranduil" i said.

Tears started to roll down his face too.

"yes" I said.

"what?" he asked.

"my answer.. I-it's yes" i said. "answer for w-.. Oh" he smiled.

Then he kissed me, it was not as soft as our last kiss. I could tell that he was not so sweet and shy anymore, but I expected that because he was the King now. After he pulled away we just stared at each other. I loved being in his arms again.

He started to say,

"I'm so sorry I let those orcs take you away. I shouldn't have taken you out in the woods at night. It's all my f-" but I stopped him by kissing him. "shh. It is not your fault. Don't say that" I said

(( 2 weeks later))

-Irethia's P.O.V-

It was just a few weeks before our wedding and we had gone to a meeting with Elrond.

On the way back we passed a village that was being attacked by orcs. I got down from my horse.

"Thranduil, we have to help them" I said.

"No" said Thranduil.

"w-what?" I asked.

"There are too many orcs. We will all die if we try to help them" he said. "but they will all be killed!" I yelled. "I said no!" Thranduil yelled back.

I jumped a little when he yelled. He got down from his elk and walked over to me. He put his hands on my cheeks.

"You know that I would do anything that you want me to do, but not if it put you in danger" he said. "I can't lose you again"

I hugged him tightly.

"ok" i said with tears in my eyes.

I hated having to leave the people to die, but Thranduil was right. We were greatly outnumbered,  and there was not much we could do.

I went to get on my horse, but Thranduil put me in front of him on his elk. I love when he gets all protective of me. He could be very difficult sometimes, and he knew how to make me mad.. But I love him, and I know that he loves me. He was very intimidating.. Sometimes he even scares me, but I know that he is actually a nice guy, who has just been through a lot of heartache and pain.
