Jiang Cheng: Babies, does any of you smell anything?

Shi Zhui: Yes, I do, something really spicy.

Jing Yi: And something really salty.

Jin Ling: And burnt. Like coal.

Wei Ying: *Calling from the kitchen* My babies! Dinner will be served soon! Go wash your hands and faces and get ready to eat! Wen Ning! Come set the table.

Jiang Cheng: Shit, the last time I ate anything, I fainted.

Jin Ling: I don't know about you uncle, but I am running away.

Jiang Cheng: Good idea.

Jing Yi: Take me with you! Shi Zhui, come along!

Shi Zhui: I can't, I have to warn Han Guang Jun first.

Jin Ling: No need! Only he has the nei gung (spiritual power) to withstand your mom's cooking anyway and Wen Ning is already a half walking corpse and he can't die again if he eats. 

Shi Zhui: You have a valid point. Let me at least write a note to explain to Han Guang Jun where I have gone to with Jing Yi.

Jin Ling: Look, I am counting to ten and if you aren't done, I am dumping your ass here. 

Jiang Cheng: Jin Ling, mind your language.

Wei Ying: *Happy voice from the kitchen along with questionable aroma* OK! FOOD IS READY!? 

Jing Yi: People, run!

Wei Ying: Too bad everyone is not home! URGHHH! What a waste! I cooked like for everyone. 

Lan Zhan: Hmm. Wei Ying, I thought I heard Wen Ning growled. 

Wei Ying: Yeah, I asked him to set the table but he fell asleep after coming into the kitchen. Couldn't even summon him with Chen Qing, the heck. 

Lan Zhan: I see. What did you make today? 

Wei Ying: Spicy chili fried rice, ala Gusu style because I put in only vegetables, spicy soup with tofu and then fried spicy eggs. 

Lan Zhan: ... I see. 

Wei Ying: Come on, try it, try it. It will be yummy. The last time Jiang Cheng ate my food, he loved it that he started meditating. 

Lan Zhan: ... I see. 

Lan Zhan stares at all the red dishes in front of him. He picks up a spoon, bravely scoops a spoon of soup and tastes. 

Wei Ying: Yummy right? I put in the best chili I can find in Gusu and...Lan Zhan? LAN ZHAN! 

Lan Zhan drops his spoon, straightens his back and closes his eyes in meditation pose. 

Wei Yin: LAN ZHAN! Why are you meditating now! URGHHH! Fine. I'll eat everything myself. OH MY GOD! SO YUMMY! Finally, real food.
