Doors open and immediately I hear my name escape from a familiar voice. Barely I pick up my head and lock eyes with beautiful green ones but just as fast I look away and to the ground as I'm forced onto my knees.

"What happened to her?" A familiar voice asked. It wasn't Lexa's. But it was definitely familiar.

"She killed a lot of us. I had to get it out of my system," the guy on me right spoke.

"I get that-" the girl pauses and that's when I rise my head finding Echo looking to Lexa who's pinned down to her throne.

"Echo, don't do this," Lexa speaks up making my eyes flicker to her. Her green eyes stay locked on mine and I just nod my head at the girl looking back to Echo. Echo tilts her head at Lexa.

"Don't do this? You killed our queen and she killed our king," Echo said and I clenched my jaw. There's no way in hell Roan is dead. They must have done something. "I think this is only fitting, all of us, all of Azgeda have agreed this is what should be done."

"And.. And what's that?" I question dropping my gaze a moment and close my eyes. But I quickly pick up my head and lock eyes with Echo's.

"You'll find out soon," Echo responds. "For now I just want to take in this moment. Figure out what we're to do when you're both dead."

A chuckle escapes my lips. "I didn't know you were a cold hearted bitch," I say earning a hard hit to the side of my head. I fall over and hit the ground but am immediately brought back up and placed on my knees. I flinch my head a bit and then look to the guy who hit me spitting out the blood that gathers in my mouth onto his boots. I seen him rise his hand again to hit me but he stops lowering her hand but he makes a fist.

"I can make this go faster if you'd like Y/N," Echo said and I only shrugged my shoulders looking to her.

"I mean it's not like this is my first time," I say shrugging again and adding. "But I just want to know one thing." My eyes flick to Lexa's. The amount of concern and fear in her eyes as she looks back at me reminds me of when she stayed by my side after being shot. I shut my eyes a moment shaking my head.

"No Y/N. Your fight is not over. Your fight is not over! Not now, not ever!" Lexa speaks and all I can do is shake my head. My eyes flick over to Clarke's. Tears fill her eyes and I shake my head.

"Take c-care of her for m-me," I whisper moving my head slightly to Lexa. Clarke hesitantly nods. "And tell R-Raven, Bellamy and all of th-them that we'll meet again. One day, s-some day."

"Y/N-" Clarke shakes her head and I nod my head slowly. "May we meet again."

"What?" Lexa's voice rings through the room. "Clarke, we can save her. We can help her! She's not dying!"

"Lexa, it's too late-"

"NO!" Lexa's voice is strong, stern. I squeeze her hand that holds mine causing her to turn her head back to me. Our eyes lock once more and a small smile inches to my lips.

"Lexa I need you to promise me a-something," I whisper.

"Y/N," Lexa barely breathes out shaking her head.

"Promise me... that no matter what you'll keep living... you'll keep living and not just surviving."

"Y/N-"

"Pl-please... Promise me," I cut her off with tears slowly slipping from both of our eyes. But finally I see the girl nod her head up and down.

"I promise... I promise Y/N." A small smile inches to my lips as I nod slowly, thinking for a second feeling Lexa squeeze my hand again.

"For a while...I didn't k-know what this phrase meant. I-I now know wh-what it does-" I pause seeing the confusion in the commander's eyes. "Ai hod yu in Leksa kom trikru." Lexa stares back at me, shock and happiness filling her face but I squeeze her hand and slowly feel my eyes become heavier than they have been. I feel Lexa squeeze my hand.

I open my eyes feeling a slight push on my shoulder causing me to wince. My eyes open to be met with Echo's eyes looking back at me. "I want to know why at mount weather you were nice to me. And why here afterwards you never hurt me or killed me when you had the best opportunity too."

A smirk inches to Echo's lips as she steps down away from Lexa. "I did what I had too. Plus you didn't do anything back then."

"I'm sure I did. You just weren't sure of yourself-" I pause a second cupping my hands together. "I think there's good in you Echo, but you're obviously upset. Losing your queen and then your king it can be upsetting. But trying to take over and hurting and killing innocent people isn't the way-"

"Isn't the way? And what about my people? The ones you killed," Echo says cutting me off. I nod my head slowly leaning my head back a bit shutting my eyes.

"That's fair but I'm not the one trying to start a war. That was you and Azgeda," I respond back. A silence enters the air making it feel tense. I flick my eyes away from Echo and to Lexa. Her eyes are soft when looking to me. They always had been. And I can see her green eyes trail me, scanning me over. I guarantee I looked bad. Blood had to be everywhere yet still I stay here with my head high.

"I'm done talking!" Echo raises her voice tearing my eyes from Lexa. "Let's get this done so we can proceed with the plan!" Within seconds I feel the person on my right take me and make me lean forward my head leaning out.

"Echo," Lexa's voice is tense but she speaks through her teeth. "Don't. Don't be like Queen Nia."

"But it's the only way I know how to get to you," Echo responds and it clicks quickly into my mind. They were going to cut my head off right in front of Lexa like it wasn't bad enough Queen Nia has done this to Lexa before. Cutting off Lexa's lover Costia and delivering it to the foot of her bed. I squeeze my eyes shut and shake my head but I don't bother struggling having little hope.

"So you're going to do what's already been done before?" I ask, but I get no response. A small smirk builds to my lips dropping my hands a bit. "How unoriginal. I thought you were better than this Echo."

"Kom op ona! dula'm op! (Come on! Do it)!" Echo shouts as I hear the sound of sword being drawn and a shout from Lexa ringing through my ears.
