"ok, uhh the name is.. Infinity?" I said looking at infinity as he shook his head and pointed to the paper
"ma'am I need a legal name" The lady asked me on the other side of the phone
"ok uhh.. First name Montrese, m-o-n-t-r-e-s-e Middle name is Infinity, Last is Williams" I said reading the paper
"ok, give me a minute" she said putting me on hold
I put my phone on speaker then muted it
"im nervous" I said wiping my hands on my pants
"you doing good, it's only gonna get crazier from this point on I told you that from that beginning" he said putting his hand on my shoulder
I felt my wrist tingle a little bit, surprised my mom or nalisa haven't seen it yet.
I heard a noise on the phone so I picked it up took it off speaker and mute and put it to my ear
"ok ma'am, we have a record of Mr. William's death but it says here that we have no body" she said making me look at him as he rubbed his chin smoking his blunt
"ok thank you, is there anyone I can get in contact with to see about finding the body" I asked
"umm.. no, when a body is found we will let you know" she said "can I get a name for contact purposes" she continued making me hang up
"not finna give her my name" I said putting the phone down writing on the paper
"this is crazy.. how do they not have my body? It said they found my body on the street's of miami, now they saying they can't find my body" he said rubbing his waves
He kinda looked like nas, a younger version
Nas was a fine man when he was younger especially in belly..man was too fine. Dmx was fine in that movie too I was gonna have to rewatch that movie tonight
"you even listening to me riah" he said snapping his fingers in my face
"uh... no?" I said slightly smiling as he mugged me
"I said we need to go to miami... I wanna find my body" he said getting up walking into the kitchen
"wait.. do you remember anyone or anything from when you died? like.. your old friends" I asked following him into the kitchen
"nope.. and that makes it worse" he said pulling out a plastic bowl " want this left over Chinese food? you look hungry" he said sliding it towards me
"sure" I mumbled putting it in the microwave
"look at this little dysfunctional family, I sense some type of energy between yall.. I like it" daeus said walking into the kitchen sitting at the table
"shut up" infinity said turning around to look at him
daeus ignored him looking at me as I took the food out the microwave "thats mine" he said trying to grab the food
I snatched it back "it was given to me, finders keepers" I said opening the bowl blowing my breath on it, I was not finna give this food up I haven't eaten all day and it was going on 4pm
"i dont care" he said snatching the food coughing on it
I scrunched up my face "ew" I said throwing the fork at him but it missed hitting the wall
I was snatched up from behind and my back was against the fridge
"chill out with that throwing shit" infinity said with his face inches from mines
his breath smelled good
"she enjoying that shit" jeezus said walking in laughing
infinity kissed his teeth letting me go walking down the hallway
Did I just pee on myself? I made duck lips "where's the bathroom?" I asked them and daeus pointed down the hallway slurping on the noodles
"second door on the right" he said I nodded grabbing my phone walking to the bathroom
walking down the hall I looked at the right side walking to the second door
I opened the door and it was a bedroom
"what?" infinity said laying on his back with his eyes closed
"bathroom, daeus misguided me" I said walking out
"use mine" he said pointing at a door I nodded and walked to the door opening it and closing it
I walked to the toilet and sat down peeing
how the heck did I get myself tied up in helping a demon find his body
I got some tissue to wipe "im a human slug" I mumbled wiping more getting up flushing and washing my hands
I cut the lights off and walked out seeing the room empty
I walked out and back towards the front
"thanks" I said sarcastically to daeus as he lightly laughed
"you're welcome" he said laughing as I walked out the house and on the porch
doughboy handed me a donut "here bestie, I know your skinny ass hungry" he said smiling at me I nodded and grabbed the donut
"thank you bestie" I said turning around mugging daeus
