After recent rumours that Im Nayeon and Chung Jungsun made headlines for the third time this month, following their previous relationship rumours in November 2020 and May 2019 which had previously been denied by Woolim Ent and ignored by JYP Ent.
But after the recent reports over a relationship between Im Nayeon and Chung Jungsun which included both videos and photos of the couple, their companies have finally released statements.
JYP has now confirmed that the two are indeed dating! The agency revealed that they do not know the exact time period when the two started their relationship, but they commented to several media outlets, "The dating rumors are true. While they were close friends as sunbae and hoobae in school prior to their debut, and throughout time their relationship progressed into that of a couple... Please watch over them fondly."
Chung Jung Sun's Company Woolim Entertainment have now also confirmed. They stated, "He and Nayeon are dating... We are sorry that we did not respond truthfully the two or so times the rumors were reported. At the time, when we asked Jung Sun, he had said that it wasn't true so we had responded that way before. We are sorry. We will reveal our official statement soon."
