~Sasukes POV~

My eyes open to an empty room. Suna is no where in sight so I'm guessing he left to cool off a bit.

I attempt to roll on my back, hissing as my ribs come across the floor. He must of done more damage to them than usual if the pain hasn't subsided yet.

I slowly lift my head to look at the damage and immediately gasp in shock. Half my torso is purely purple while the other side is decorated in marks from past beatings. I whimper as I feel a sharp pain on my side and quickly turn to examine it.

My eyes widen as I see a bloody gash about 4 inches long where my stomach and back meet, confusion immediately envelopes my head.. I don't remember him having anything shar-

The ring.

It was the ring he took from me..wasn't it.

The object was the only thing I treasured, but he had stolen it from me once as a joke.. and now he chose to mark me with it.

That honestly hurt worse than any wound.

~Flashback~
(Two years ago)

I had been walking back to my apartment, my usual emotionless expression lying on my face. My families funeral had just gotten finished and today was not a particular good day.

Every since their deaths the world had became grey.

It had become so very grey..

It seemed as if I had nothing.. as if there was nothing happy anymore.

I was 18 with utterly nothing to live for.

I was a mateless omega with no family, and I sadly don't think love was in the picture for me. It was already so rare to be an omega male.. but to find my mate.

It seemed too good to be true.

You see omega males were different than regular omegas. They did not have a matching mark with their mates. Instead they have what you call a puzzle peice mark.

A normal person would have a replica of what their mates have, so if one person had a red triangle as their mark then their mate would have the same.

But you see, if you mate is the same gender as you, you do not share the same mark. You instead, share marks that go together or are the balance of one another. The factor that makes it so hard is that you do not know the other half or balance of your mark until you find it, so it is a lot harder to find than normal.

You find out what you sexual type is when you become of age. At 16 I felt the bond form and found out I was indeed what I suspected..

An omega.

My mark is a dark crescent moon so yes, I have ideas on what my other half could be, but no, I am no where near certain.
