𝐽𝑈𝐿𝐼𝐸𝑇-

A few days after the gala, winter holidays were right behind the corner.

I sat in Remus's dorm. On his bed reading through some of his books.

Remus was interesting, He'd highlighted all the things he liked in different colours, writing down little notes in all of his novels, some of them were quite funny, he liked to predict the endings way before they happened, and he was frequently right about them.

"Why are you so fascinated with that?" He asked me leaning up against one of the posts of Sirius's bed.

"Because you intrigue me, you highlight such fascinating things. It's interesting"

He shrugged and pulled the book out of my hands

"Hey!"

"No more of that Crescent"

"Or what? You'll throw chocolate at me, you've got plenty of books, I could do this all day." I said playfully

Remus lunged at me, the way he always did when we play-fought.

He leaped on top of me and pinned my arms down, I would've never stood a chance.
perhaps I could've tried some non-verbal magic to win, but that would have been cheating, and im no cheat.
"No fair! You've got to at least give me a chance!"
"Fine take your shot Crescent."
He released my arms and I shoved him off, pushing him onto the spot where I was, where I leapt on top of him instead, ruffling up his already messy hair.

He seemed unamused.

"Wow Jules, I'm so scared"

"You should be, I'll electrocute you with my lightning voodo" I joked

"Oh is that what the first years are saying about you this week?" Remus commented from underneath me

I nodded

Suddenly Sirius walked in and looked at us shockingly, his hand slammed against his eyes once he'd seen us, but that didn't last long when he un-surprisingly peaked through

"I can uh...leave" He muttered awkwardly, clearing his voice

"We were just playing around Dog-star, promise."

I hopped off of Remus who sat up on his bed

Sirius raised his hands in the air, responding in a much more confident tone

"Hey, I never said I cared"

"That's a lie" Remus coughed

"Shut up." Sirius muttered.

Sirius had his trunk half packed and had come in the throw some of his clean laundry into it, completely unfolded.

Sirius hadn't really been around since the gala, he and James were always off plotting something, I worried about how he was doing after how angry he had gotten.

"Are you excited for the holidays?" Remus asked me

"Are you kidding? I'll be spending Christmas at Grim-old-place"

"Did you just call my house grim-old-place? Because if so, that's hilarious" Sirius asked, still shoving his laundry in his trunk dramatically

"You are so unorganized Sirius" Remus told him, his trunk truly looked like a mess.

"You call it unorganized, I call it having character"

"Move over! I'll do it" Remus told him, pushing Sirius aside

Sirius turned to me, whispering in my ear
"it was always the plan to get Remus to do it "
Sirius narrowly avoided my hand when I went to slap him for his manipulation
