My heart starts racing when I hear that familiar tone
My hands start shaking, I tremble to my bones
It's really no big deal
but I feel the way I feel
All nervous and tense when preparing to use the phone
A/N: Little poem I wrote a long time ago about the absolutely irrational stress before making a phone call. It's gotten better since then, but I have to admit I still don't really like making phone calls.
