Chapter 13

Demis POV:

So today is the day I am going to ask Anna if she would like to be adopted.

So, I'm gonna take the girls shopping and ask her at lunch.

"Girls!" I called out the back door

"Yeah?" they called back

"Can you come here please?" I asked

"Do we have to? We're having fun on the trampoline." Tayor whined

"Yeah. Come jump with us Dem!" Jess laughed

"Ugh, fine! I'm coming." I groaned

I walked out to the back and took my shoes off.

"Yaay! You came!" Anna cheered

"Of course I came. I wouldn't miss a chance to have fun with my girls!" I said a little too cheerfully

They all stopped jumping and looked at me.

"What do you want from us?" Jess glared at me

"What? Nothing!" I replied quickly

"Bullshit. Spill it Lovato!" Taylor said

"Fine. I wanted you guys to come shopping with me." I sighed

They all started laughing.

"What's so funny?" I asked confused

"Seriously? That's all you wanted to ask us?" Anna replied still laughing

"Well, yeah. Last time I took Taylor shopping, we were bombarded by paparazzi. And it didn't end very well." I said

Taylor looked down

"Hey, lift your head up princess. We don't want your tiara falling do we?" I lifted her chin with my index and middle finger.

She had tears in her eyes.

"Hey, shhh. Don't cry." I pulled her into a hug

Shs sobbed on my shoulder.

"What's wrong babygirl?" I asked her

I made her look at me.

"Please tell me what's wrong. I can't help you if I don't know what is causing you to hurt." I said

Taylors POV:

"Nobody can help me." I said just above a whisper

"What?" Demi asked

"Nothing. So when are we leaving?" I asked wiping my tears

"Umm, when do you guys want to leave?" She looked at Anna and Jess

"Noon ish maybe?" Anna suggested

Demi looked at me and Jess.

"I'm good for noon. Tay?" Jess looked at me

"Yeah, I guess." I whispered

"Well, it's settled. We leave at noon." Demi said getting off of the trampoline

"Lets start getting ready, yeah?" Anna asked

"Yeah lets go." Jess said

They both started making their way into the house while I stayed sitting on the trampoline.

"You coming?" Jess asked

I shook my head.

"Alright." They turned around and left

I got up and started jumping to calm myself down.

Then I started doing some tricks that I taught myself.
