I met you in the gloom
You were crushed and gloomy.
We crossed ways,
We strolled together along the way.

I lit up the road.
A smile in your lip was drawn.
You hold my hand,
Like a child who fears to be alone.
•
I stayed with you and cast your fright.
I made your night the very bright.
I guess it's kismet to see you.
I just hope daylight won't come so soon.
•
I then made a half smile
Still enough to lit another mile.
It's been a while since I saw you cry.
I can say that you're now fine.
•
I don't know what to do.
All I want is to be with you.
But every thing will end soon.
For I'm just your moon.
•
I will be out of your sight,
You'll enjoy her light.
But it's alright,
I will stay by your side.
•
I will now bid my goodbye,
For the one you love is in the sky.
I'll see you again at night,
For it is the only time you'll see my light.
