It all started with a dance

Draco was standing in the common room, Blaise had left at six in the morning and Draco only got two hours of sleep, he was in a cranky mood

Hermione came out of her room and smiled at him, he immediately felt his energy levels raise,  she stood in front of him and furrowed her eyebrows

"What?" Draco asked her

"You're missing something" she said, a smirk trying to play on her lips

"Granger..." he began

She summoned her Gryffindor scarf and put it on the blond, he was complaining the whole time

"Oh hush you, I'm going to spend the whole bloody day with you, this is nothing, and besides, red looks good on you" Hermione told him

"I have to wear this for a bloody week! And don't complain, I know you're looking forward to spending a day with me" Draco told her

"Am I? To spend a day with the ferret? I'm still hoping that this is just a nightmare" Hermione said, although she was smiling

"It is, I'm wearing a bloody Gryffindor scarf" Draco mumbled

"Red looks good on you Malfoy" Hermione winked and walked away

Draco tried to remove the scarf and noticed that she had charmed it, he won't be able to remove it no matter how much he tried to

"Sneaky minx" Draco mumbled

He followed her out and Salazar let out a exclaimed

"Why are you wearing a Gryffindor scarf?" The Slytherin founder exclaimed

"I knew it! I knew it would only be a short while before your Slytherin prince became a Gryffindor" Godric smirked

"There had to be a explanation, no way he would willingly wear a scarf of your house" Salazar said

"Well yesterday the Gryffindor princess wore the scarf of the snakes, maybe this is revenge" Godric told him

Draco backed away slowly, when it seemed that the two founders weren't paying attention he walked to the great hall

He entered and walked to the Slytherin table

"Do tell me that I'm seeing things, don't tell me that our Draco Malfoy has betrayed us and is wearing a Gryffindor scarf" Theo grimaced

Draco grumbled and grabbed some bacon, his three friends were still looking at him as it he were crazy

"What?" Draco spat

"We get that you're in love with Granger, but to the point of changing houses?" Theo asked

"I lost the bloody bet with Granger" Draco mumbled

"That was a given, she's a Gryffindor and Gryffindors always win bets, and she's Granger, what else did you expect?" Pansy said

Draco looked at Blaise and the wizard immediately knew part of his plan

"You knew you were going to lose, why?" Blaise asked him

"Because I got Granger to agree to go on a date with me" Draco smirked

"You-!" Pansy exclaimed

"You sneaky fox" Theo smirked

They continued eating until the bell rang, they had potions and made their way to the dungeons

Draco walked in with his friends and saw Hermione bickering with Ron, a small wave of jealousy ran through his veins, he watched them from his chair, Hermione looked around and saw Draco glaring daggers at Ron, she rolled her eyes at him but Draco saw the smile she was fighting, and felt his heart flutter, they have made it farther than he had ever expected, he never expected on becoming friends with Hermione Granger and he never expected to fall in love with her once again
