Sanju's POV

"Sanju! Le ra." my mom calls.

"Sanju! Get up." my mom calls.

"Abba. Padukoni amma." I groan, turning around.

"Gosh. Let me sleep mom." I groan, turning around.

"Tsk. Le ra. Lakshmi aunty vallintiki vellali." she says.

"Tsk. Get up. We need to go to Lakchmi aunty's house." she says.

"Lakshmi aunty vallintika?!" I ask, getting up. "Amma, vallu mana inti pakkane untaru."

"To Lakshmi aunty's house?!" I ask, getting up. "Mom, they live right next door to us."

"Avunu, moosukoni thvaraga ready avvu."

"Yes, not shut up and get ready quickly."

"Ughh sare." I pull myself out of bed.

"Ughh fine." I pull myself out of bed.

"Manchiga ready avvu."

"Get ready nicely."

I just roll my eyes and walk into the bathroom with my towel.

Ammu's POV

The sun shines through my window and onto my face, waking me up. I open my eyes and get out of bed. I quickly brush and sit on my floor to meditate.

"Ammu. Lesava? Sharada aunty vallu vasthunnaru!" my mom calls from downstairs.

"Ammu. Are you awake? Sharada aunty and her family are coming!" my mom yells from downstairs.

"Lesa ma!" I yell back.

"I'm up ma!" I yell back.

"Sare. Thvaraga ready avvu. Cheera kattuko."

"Ok. Get ready fast. Put on a saree."

I get up and go into my bathroom, groaning.

I never get enough peace and quiet to meditate. Its always so loud. We are a big family, mostly because my sister, my brother-in-law, and their kids live with us too. The kids are always playing, my brother-in-law works, and my sister and mom are always cooking in the kitchen. My dad...well he is always looking for a boy to get me married to. But my dad is chill. I am probably going to have to sit through another marriage arrangement. Again.

I finish my morning routine and wear a saree.

After I finish combing my hair, I put on my ear rings and bangles.

I walk downstairs and see Latha Aunty and Shiva uncle sitting in front of my parents

I walk downstairs and see Latha Aunty and Shiva uncle sitting in front of my parents.

"Hi Amyra." Latha aunty greets me.

"Hi aunty." I say to her. "Hi uncle."

"Hi Amyra." uncle says.

"Ee saree lo adbuthanga unnavamma." Latha aunty says.

"You look gorgeous in this saree dear." Latha aunty says.

"Thanks aunty." I say, smiling.

I look around for my best friend.

"Uh, Sanju vachada aunty?" I ask.

"Uh, did Sanju come aunty?" I ask.

My parents and Sanju's parents look at each other, a hint of a smile on all of their faces.

"Ah, vachadamma. Bayatunnadu choodu." uncle answers.

"Yea, he came. He's outside. Look." uncle answers.

"Ok uncle." I smile and walk outside.

I see Sanju, talking on the phone. I sneak up behind him slowly and quietly. I grab the his phone out of his hand and run. He begins chasing me.

"Ammu!" he yells.

"Nannu pattukolevu. Po ra." I say as I run into the house.

"You can't catch me. Get lost dude." I say as I run into the house.

"Ninnu!" he yells. "Champesthane ninnu. Naa chethulo chachavu!"

"You!" he yells. "I will kill you. You are so dead in my hands!"

"Auntyyyy!" I squeal as I run into the living room.  I stop and look around for a place to hide. The parents are staring at me, but by now, I am pretty sure they are used to this. Suddenly, arms wrap around me.

"Phone ivvave rakshasi!" Sanju says.

"Give me the phone you devil!" Sanju says.

He is trying to be angry, but I know him too well. Sanju rarely gets mad or upset. He's a very calm person.

He picks me off the floor, shaking me side to side, but I keep my mouth shut. Our parents start laughing at us and he lets go of me, almost as if he just realized that our parents were in the same room as us.

"Ammu, Sanjuni ala edipinchake. Phone icheyyi papam." mom says.

"Ammu, don't tease Sanju like that. Give him the phone." mom says.

I roll my eyes and toss him his phone, which he manages to fumble. Luckily, he doesn't drop it.

"Ammu, Sanju, mee iddaritho konchem matladali." mom says.

"Ammu, Sanju, we need to talk to both of you." mom says.

I don't like the sound of that, but I don't argue.

My parents and Sanju's parents glance at each other before fixing their eyes back on us.

"Ammu, maaku nuvvu, Sanju pelli chesukovali ani undi." mom says.

"Ammu, we want you and Sanju to get married." mom says.

"Pella...sare." I say. "Pellega. Cheseskuntamu. Kaani, maa iddariki evaru inka nachaledu."

"Marriage...sure." I say. "Its just marriage. We will go it. But, neither of us like anyone yet."

"Kaadu Ammu." Latha aunty says.

"No Ammu." Latha aunty says.

"Mari?" I ask, confused.

"Then?" I ask, confused.

"Mee iddaru pelli chesukovali..."

"You both should get married..."

Hellooo people!! Ok, so I started this book to kind of let off steam. I hope you all don't mind. I am planning on this story being very short. Hopefully I succeed and don't stretch one scene to be like three chapters long or something.(Sorry if I do that tho btw.) Anyways, hope you all are enjoying this. Cast List will be out soon!
