I came outside the room after offering Fajar to find Ayaan and Abbu a quite very early here.. "Bhabhi where is Bro Jani? I was calling you both and none of you picked up.." He look bit worried, I gave both of them assuring smile.. "We were just offering Namaz.. Asad is.." before I could say further Asad came outside and wished Both Ayaan and Abbu..
"Why are you both here so early in the morning?" Asad said settling down on the benches outside.. Ayaan handed me the tiffin which I guess had the breakfast.. Asad must be hungry, he hardly had a proper meal last night.. "Sorry Bro Jani, I was being restless so just came and Uncle said you both might be hungry too.. So please have something to eat.."
I pleaded Asad with my eyes to eat and surprisingly he didn't argue back and ate with me in silence, there was still no news on Begum Sahiba, doctors were inside checking on her.. Ya Allah.. "Mr. Khan, Begum Sahiba has gain consciousness.." The moment nurse announced this, a smile broke on all our lips.. I saw the two brother's embracing each other in relief and I raised my hand to thank the almighty.. "You both should go see her.." I said with a smile and Ayaan rushed to the room..
"You both go meet her, I will call at home and inform the ladies, they will be worried too.." with that Asad went out from there... I know he is just scared to face her right now, he needs time to collect his emotions which are all over the place right now.. I came inside the room to find Ayaan crying in her Mom's embrace while she was patting his head lovingly.. Such a beautiful moment to witness.. She looks so beautiful even in such state... The women has such a grace.. "Assalamoalaikum Begum Sahiba.." Abbu and I said at the same time and she smiled at us..
"I am so sorry, I scared all of you.." She said with a small smile and I just shrugged my head taking her hand in mine.. "Please don't say that.. We are glad to see you okay..." And she smiled.. We talked a bit and then left the room to let her rest.. Asad was nowhere in sight.. I wonder where he went..

I was coming towards Mom's room to check on her after giving a call at home, when the doctor called me inside his cabin to talk.. I dread this moment.. Don't know what bomb they are going to explode on me now.. please Allah, please let it be a good news please Allah please.. "Mr. Khan please take a seat.." His expression didn't give away on what exactly he want to talk about so I flopped down in front of him..
Asad - Is her condition worsening Doctor? Why did she faint?
Doctor - Don't worry Mr. Khan her condition is stable for now.. She has been exhausted in preparing for your wedding and I guess that was the reason her health downgraded a bit.. But right now she is fine...
Asad - Can't this have a cure? There should be somewhere in this damn world?
Doctor - Actually I wanted to talk about the same with you..
Asad - About what?
Doctor - So there is this Leukemia specialist in Mexico, He has a record of saving 60% of his patients.. And I think he can help your Mother too...
Asad - Really?
Doctor - See I don't want to give you a false hope, like I said there could be a 60% of chances in his hands. Also I have seen some good changes too in her health since your marriage.. She is more happy and the will of living is more stronger and that is a positive point in her case..
The smile on my face was so widening that my jaws almost hurt... Ya Allah Thank you so much..
Doctor - I have sent her file to him and will probably get a response till tonight.. We can see what to do from there okay?
Asad - Sure Doctor, Thank you so much for everything, I will see you then..
I happily came out from his cabin, this is so far the best news I have heard.. I have to be positive Inshallah everything will be fine.. "Asad where were you?" the moment she came in front of me, I immediately took her in a hug.. It's all because of her.. She is the positive change in both Mine and my Mom's life... "She can be okay Zoya, she can be fine once again.. There is a hope for her Zoya, there is a hope.." I smiled in her hair and I could feel her small hands rubbing my back lightly just like she did last night..
"There is always a hope Asad.." She said with a smile donning her face and that moment I took a minute to check how beautiful she is without even any makeup or anything.. She is the most beautiful girl I have ever met.. "Now go meet her, she is missing you.." I gave a one last nod to her and immediately entered inside Mom's room...
"Mom?" I called and her eyes flutter open smilingly.. I love that smile of hers.. Taking her in a hug, I almost broke down but stopped myself... She doesn't need to see my tears, she need to see me happy.. "You are okay nah? Does it hurt anywhere?" I asked nervously and she just shook her head smiling.. I took a sigh of relief... She look bit weak but I am sure she will be fine soon.. Allah will help her, help us for sure..
"Mom.." Another screech came from the gate and I looked up to find Najma and Zoya's Mom and sister.. Najma immediately came and lunged on her making my burrows furrowed.. "For god's sake Tamatar don't crush her with your weight.." I frowned while the other two ladies giggled making Najma pout at me.. "I am not that heavy Bro Jani stop teasing me.." She immediately started complaining about several things and I smiled.. My mom smiling along with all of us, this is only I want for the rest of my life.. Nothing more I am demanding..
