Bruno arrives home after a long day, he feels himself relax when he knows his special someone is waiting for him inside the house.
It is night and the stars were out to shine light in through the windows when he enters. Bruno says "Y/N? I'm home.." He closes the door and a smile rises on his lips when he hears her footsteps running up to him from behind.
Y/N tackles him into a hug, he turns around to her but his smile fades when he sees tears in his lovers eyes.
Bruno asks worriedly "What's wrong sweetie?" he gently takes her shoulders as Y/N grips onto his shirt in fear.
Y/N stutters "I-it's scary alone in this house at night! Darkness is scary!" Bruno listens to her voice crack and rubs her back gently, he replies "Okay, let's go sit down and watch something how does that sound?" Y/N nods quickly.
Bruno takes her hand and leads her to the lounge, he turns on the T.V and says when Y/N sits down "I will get us something to drink and eat" Y/N tugs on his sleeve as he starts for the kitchen and mumbles "Please don't leave..."
Bruno nods and sits down beside her, he wraps an arm around her shoulder and kisses the side of her head whispering "Its okay" over and over.
Y/N's scared state starts to melt away and end up being replaced with a warm happiness feeling knowing in Bruno's arms she's safe and protected.
Bruno wraps his other arm around her so he's holding her close to himself and slowly rocks Y/N humming a small tune. The atmosphere feels softer like a fuzzy blanket being dropped on the situation or like laying in a nest of everything soft.
Y/N yawns seeing as though it is midnight, Bruno kisses the top of her head and picks her up bridal style to their room.
He gently sets her in the covers and pulls the blankets over her up to her shoulders smiling like the 'Mother Figure' he is.
He crawls into bed beside her after turning off the T.V downstairs and closing the curtains. And he wraps his arms around her waist kissing her lips softly, Y/N kisses his cheek saying "You promise not to leave me in the dark again?" Bruno replies "I promise, I love you Y/N" Y/N smiles tiredly and replies back "Love you too..." before falling asleep against his chest.
(Bruno is so adorable sometimes *insert wholesome attack here* Also sorry if it was a short oneshot I still hope you enjoyed it though, I myself should be asleep by now lol, see ya next time 👍)
