"Just... just promise me you'll remember it no matter what okay?"

I look back down at the numbers, contemplating it seriously. For a brief moment the image of James and the other two came to mind, ringing a massive warning bell. Almost instantly my heart sped up and I knew that this was what he meant.

In situations like these his words always held a hidden meaning and in this case, the hidden meaning was aimed at James and his men. I inhaled deeply and looked up through my lashes, I slapped his arm trying to ease the tension,

"Don't worry you twat, I'll do anything for you,"

He exhaled deeply, eyes closing in content. I shuffled around on the spot so that I had my back facing the front door and spoke sassily,

"You know for someone like you who's a one centimetre leprechaun, you have a lot of nerve demanding me to do stuff for you... did like Willy Wonka, your sole owner that is, send you back to the original provider? For you know..."

I took a step closer to him and whispered to build tension,

"... height problems?"

I took a step back, seeing his well-known smirk. I couldn't help but smile too, knowing that the situation had eased a little. He looked to the side, hands on hips before refacing me. He gave me a look ready to say something when his gaze shifted, moving to whatever was behind me.

Everything felt like it happened in slow motion. Theo's once happy and chilled face turned into an alarmed one like sparking a fire on a match. He removed his arms from his hips and lunged forward screaming,

"GET DOWN!"

I gasped, feeling Theo's strong grip on me. He pulled me down in perfect timing because as soon as I crouched down the glass behind me smashed into pieces causing me to let out a ear-piercing scream.

The sound of bullets continued to fire, shooting aimlessly around the place. I covered my ears, the fear off the scale. I peaked up seeing holes in the walls, bullets wedged in. I thought the bullets stopped but it ever did. It just continued. I was frozen in place, unable to move.

In front of me Theo comes close, removing my hands from my face. I meet his somewhat calm but alarmed face. He looks at me from head to toe and parts his lips to speak but I couldn't hear anything over the constant bullets being fired.

I blinked seeing everything around Theo become blurry and distant. Even the sound of the bullets were quieter but it didn't stop the heavy beats of my heart pounding. Theo placed his hands on my shoulder and shook me slightly. I blinked, coming back to reality,

"SCAR! SCAR!"

Theo screamed,

"Huh?"

I only called out. He came closer still screaming over the deafening noise of the constant bullets that were shot as well as the cafe's alarm that went off,

"SCAR COME ON! I NEED TO GET YOU TO A SAFER PLACE! LET'S GO!"

He positioned me on my knees and hands, him doing so. He carefully crawled around the floor, heading for the counter. I followed him a few steps when I stopped. My eyes widened in realization,

"The numbers..."

I gasped to myself. I stopped crawling and tapped his calf, making him look over his shoulder. I squinted my eyes, inhaling the smoke from broken bricks that surrounded us. I scream,

"I FORGOT SOMETHING!"

"THERE'S NO TIME SCAR! WE NEED TO TAKE COVER!"

Even in our unplanned situation I continued to act stubborn. I spun around going back to where we initially were. I leaned against the table that we were once stood around and extended my hand up, trying to feel the scrunched up paper. Theo's eyes widen as he screams,
