You were a barista with a simple life of solitude and with no intentions of socializing with mostly anyone that wasn't work related...
One day a handsome young man and his friends entered the cafe, they were lovely and polite as can be, but one stoo...
-- That night you got back home you received a call from an unknown number, it was a local number so you knew it must have been Mark. You didn't want to seem desperate or needy so you decided to play it cool and casually asked who it was as you answered, knowing full well it was obviously Mark who was calling you the moment you heard his sweet voice. --

"Hey Mc, it's uh... It's Mark." He sounded nervous as he spoke. You flopped down onto your couch with a hum. "Well hello there Mark, long time no talk." You say teasingly and you could hear him chuckle, you could practically see his bright smile as you teased him. "Sorry for calling late, were you busy?" He asked quietly, his voice growing more timid as the time ticked on.
"Its fine I wasn't busy, I actually just got home. What are you up to?" You asked casually as you flipped on your television, skimming through what you may want to watch. Mark was quiet for a moment, like he was collecting himself, "I was just... Cleaning."
By cleaning, Mark actually meant he was in the process of purging his phone entirely of all the people who made his life the toxic mess that it currently was and all of the social media applications were deleted completely. He was tired of the day to day struggles of trying to be something he just was not, Mark was seeing red when he angrily deleted and erased the past from him phone and his memory.
"Ahh, I see. No wonder you sound tired, have you eaten?" You asked casually, finally deciding upon a show to watch before getting up to head towards the kitchen. "H-Huh?" He stuttered more to himself than to you and you repeated yourself, "Oh umm... N-No, the guys aren't home yet so I haven't eaten."
You nodded to yourself and pressed your phone to your ear and shoulder as you skimmed your fridge, "I'll send you my address." Again you could hear Mark's confused huh and you repeated yourself more firmly, "I'm going to text you my address, you can have dinner with me if you want." You heard a loud clatter from his end, it sounded like he had dropped his cell phone as he stuttered his response, "Y-Yes! I w-will be on m-my way there n-now!" You could hear him now shuffling around, he was more than likely getting his wallet and jacket before rushing to lock up the house.
"Okay, will you bring something to drink with you?" You asked politely and he yelped a yes before saying he was hanging up so he could drive, "Drive safely, see you soon Mark~" The moment you hung up, both of you began to panic internally...
