"Then you better hurry up eating if you want to pay the two of them a visit." she ushered.

"But if I eat super fast, I might end up choking and dying, then I won't be able to see any of them." I argued.

"Good point. Just eat and try not to eat too quickly, but don't eat way too slow." she agreed with my argument.

I began to slowly eat my food, making sure to chew it properly, so that I won't swallow more air than I need to survive.

When you eat too fast, you swallow more air, which can cause bloating and gas.

Slowing down to properly chew your food helps to break down larger particles of food into smaller ones, aiding digestion.

Well, that's just a little small fact for you. Right now, I am done eating, so I began to do my dishes.

"My, how sweet of you to do the dishes. You must really be in a good mood." my mom praised.

"I guess I am." I shrugged and dried my hands using a towel, that is used after someone is done doing the dishes or washing their hands.

"I'll get going now, mama. Bye-bye!" I waved goodbye and left the door, shutting it behind me.

My walk was silent, with only the sound of my voice humming a tune that came into mind.

My eyes trailed off to admire the sceneries that I walk past every time I make my way to school.

I never got to admire these beautiful sceneries, since my mind was always filled with goals for the day or the day after.

Since my mind and my eyes were just taking in the natural beauty of the plants, mixed with the inventions of mankind, I had not realized the person standing in front of me.

My body bumped into the person, making me flustered and oblivious at the same time. This made me fall to the ground, landing on my butt.

"Ouch..." I muttered, quickly attempting to get up and apologize to the person when they offered a hand for me to use to stand.

I gladly accepted the offer, thankful that the person I had bumped into was nice and not someone who would just yell at you for not watching where you're going...or so I thought.

"Watch where you're going." the person said. He had a husky voice as if he wasn't someone who liked the morning.

I looked up and saw a familiar-looking young man, almost around the same age as I am.

"Good morning, Ray." I greeted. He mumbled out a 'morning' and proceeded to walk ahead as I followed.

"Watch where you're going next time. You could've bumped into something. You're lucky it was me." he scoffed.

"What were you even doing? Standing in the middle of the pathway." I inquired, wondering as to why he was standing there in the first place.

"To wake you up from your little fantasy world. If you bumped into someone else that isn't me, that'll be troublesome, won't it?" he explained.

"Oh, I suppose you're right. That was very sweet of you, Ray." I complimented, giving him a gentle smile.

"I-It's not a big deal or anything." he puffed out his cheeks in a childish manner, pink dusted his cheeks, making me giggle.

"What's so funny?!" he questioned, an irk mark forming on his forehead. I sighed and shook my head.

"Your reaction." I replied, facing forward. Ray sighed and just scratched his head as we made a turn to the right.
