Gao Yu Lan pretended not to mind that both Yin Ze and her father were communicating in secret.  Anyway, every day she is eating from Yin Ze, whatever she uses belongs to Yin Ze, sleeps with Yin Ze, but the only thing she has not agreed…….is to marry him.  The occasional display of helplessness and teeth-gnashing of Yin Ze made her extremely happy.

With a pitiful expression, Yin Shu looked up to stare at Gao Yu Lan with her pretty eyes,   “I, I……just wanted to say sorry.”

“You’ve said you’re sorry, what now?”
“Ah?”  Yin Shu was dumbfounded.  After saying sorry, what else is there to do?  “I, I……”  She stuttered.  “Wen Sha said that she can introduce you to a job but my brother said that you’re now working in my sister’s shop and you’re very happy.  I….I…..”  She wrinkled her eyebrows and tried hard to think.  “I don’t know what else to do.  What else do you want me to do so that you are willing to forgive me?”

”Yin Shu, this matter had already happened and it’s in the past.  Now I don’t even think about it and there’s nothing to be forgiven.  A job will exist if one looks for it and one has to continue living.  In the past, I whined over it, I was overcome with anger, I felt pity for myself and felt I was being wronged but nothing could be solved in that way.  That day when I was angry with Yin Ze, it was not because of you but because of Yin Ze.  I felt he didn’t attach any importance to me.  But now I understand that importance is not about passively waiting for it but it is something one has to strive for and win by oneself.”
It seemed Yin Shu did not understand and she looked at Gao Yu Lan without speaking.
Gao Yu Lan continued.  “Yin Ze is right.  You didn’t do anything wrong.  You should straighten your back and hold your head high.  As to the matter of Wen Sha framing me, I will remember it as Wen Sha’s deed and I hope you won’t think she was right for doing that.”
“No, no…..”  Yin Shu shook her head.  “I only knew of this matter after it happened and I don’t agree.  But I’m weak and I can’t do anything right…….”
“Yin Shu, you can’t live like this forever.  Even if you don’t look for a boyfriend now but will your mother let you off?  As you grow older, problems like blind dates, marriage, and having children will arise.”
“Now my mother is making arrangements for me to go on blind dates but I love Wen Sha and I just want to be with her.”
