Is like I'm anticipating death but I'm not... until...
Faraway, I could hear an angry voice, yelling over at us, but was it an illusion? Maybe it was, there was no way someone would save a random girl like me.
"HOW DARE YOU TOUCH HER!?" The voice roared like a lion as the grip on my collar loosen and I thought I was about to fall when an arm caught me and wrapped it around my waist.
Opening my eyes, I was met with a face I recognized, and also... missed.
Pale face harden, teeth clenches, his icy eyes gazing intently and murderously at the black figure who was moaning on the floor. But he must've come to his senses as he realizes he was in huge trouble. Standing up as swiftly as he could, he quickly ran down the hallways, his feet thudding the floors loudly and disappeared.
Still trembling as I watched the murderer disappeared, Jungkook caught my eyes and his gaze soften.
"Are you alright? What did he do to you?" He asked softly and I shake my head as tears decided to well up in my eyes and rolled down my cheek.
Feeling my throat close up, Jungkook then wrapped me around my waist with his arms into a hug. Sobbing onto his chest, wetting his black jumper, he caresses my hair softly to reassure me.
"What happen here!?" A voice demanded as I heard a door burst open.
Me and Jungkook both look behind us and saw the principal and the teachers, piling out the door, staring at us with a frown plaster on their faces.
"What happen?" The principal aka my dad questioned, puzzled that I was crying and that we were hugging.
Giving me a look, Jungkook slowly nudges me to tell me to get off his arms and gesture me to act. Instantly getting it, I wiped my tears and glared at Jungkook.
"How dare you touch me without my consent!" I yelled, my both hands flat on his chest to push him away, but it came out weakly.
"I'm sorry!" He shouted, raising his hands surprisingly. "You look like you needed a hug so I-"
"Dirty mongrel..." I interrupted him, raising a hand to threaten him and Jungkook pouted guilty which was adorable.
Oh sheet, what am I thinking?
"Will someone please answer the principal?" A teacher with big square glasses asked, giving us a stern but anxious look.
Waiting for an answer, I glance at Jungkook and he nodded.
"Well, Y/N got attacked... by I suppose one of the murderers. Luckily I save her just in time, right?" He asked, grinning at me.
"Of course you came at the right time," I replied, giving him a grin back. "Without you, I would've died."
"Wait, so this occurred just right outside the room? How come you didn't scream and how come you were here? Were you looking for something?" The principal inquired which made me bite my lip nervously.
"Yes it did occur right outside the room but I didn't scream because he had a knife with him. I was here because, uhm, because... I-" I stuttered nervously as he lifted an eyebrow,
"She was probably lost. You know she's still new after all and this school is quite big." Jungkook helped me finish my sentence.
I should've been thankful but the excuse he gave was kind of stupid. But what other excuses do I have?
"Yes, sir. I was lost." I agreed and he raised an eyebrow.
"Well, are you alright now?" He questioned anxiously, his eyes on my as I nervously bit my lip and shuffled around.
"Yes, she is alright." Jungkook once again replied for me. "After all, I saved her, and she didn't die. Anyways-"
Grabbing my wrist, he smiled at his dad.
"We're going to go now, go back to our dorm so see you later dad!" He said as he quickly dragged me away from the puzzled crowd.
