Chaeyoung

"You're really going to that club activity?"

Tzuyu asked the second time. She still can't believe it.

"She's going because Mina listed her and it's a pleasure for Chaeyoung!"

Dahyun said. I looked at Tzuyu. I can't really tell her expression right now.

"Be careful then."

Tzuyu uttered and went inside her room. Dahyun looked at me and shrugged.

"What time are you leaving?"

Dahyun asked while grinning at me.

"Later at 3 PM"

I answered and looked at the time. It's 2:00 PM.

"You should get ready then and enjoy!"

Dahyun said excitedly and went inside her room. I was left alone.

I sat down on the sofa, unsure if I should go.

Damn it.

"Are you excited?" Mina asked when we went inside the van. She's sitting  beside me.

"Kinda" I answered.

Somi, who is sitting next to her faked a cough. I looked at her and she gave me a glare.

"Are you okay?"

Mina asked Somi. Somi is in the club too. Including me, Mina, Somi and the Librarian, there are 10 people in this van.

This trip will be overnight.

The club do this every other month.

"Is this your first time?"

I heard Mina asked. I shook my head.

I was in a different club before and I used to go with them a lot, but it changed now.

"Really?"

She asked surprise. Am I really that boring in her eyes?

If she only remembers.

I sighed and took out my headset. I've been having headaches since this morning.

I slept the whole travel time. The destination was 2 hours away but I think it was worth it.

It felt nice to inhale and exhale here. Clean.

It felt good to lie down on the grass, so I did. Mina laid down beside me.

"This is the first thing I always do when we go camping for the club."

She uttered looking at the skies. It's 5 PM and the skies are still clear. I miss this.

"It's funny how I see myself in you when you laid down here."

She said again but I didn't say anything. Maybe I just wanted to hear her voice and I don't want to interrupt her talking.

"Am I familiar?"

I heard her asked in a low voice.

"Why?" I answered after a long silence.

"Because you felt familiar. The first time you returned my notebook, you felt really familiar.

So tell me, Am I familiar to you? Have we met before?"

She paused to look at me. I avoided her gaze and stayed silent.

"I had an accident so I lost my memory. I already told you that..

That's why I'm not really sure if I know you."

She explained.

"Do you believe that even if your mind forgets, your heart won't?"

I paused and gave her a smile.

"It could be that we know each other or you know me before."

I added. She was silent. I am hoping that her heart will at least recognize me as a friend.

"Maybe it was just a short encounter? Sorry"

She said and stood up. She invited me to help arrange the tents but I said I'll follow.

I covered my face with my arm. Different memories filled my mind. It was mostly with Mina.

Maybe I chose not to dodge when she came to me because I was hoping that I became a special person in her life when she saved me from that accident.

I hoped that her heart might remember me.

But I guess, she really won't remember me.

After a few minutes, I headed to the camping site and watched them while arranging the tents. They're so busy.

"Hey there Chaeyoung! Long time no see!"

I looked at the one who called me.

Serri, she was with me in a different club before.

I think she also transferred. I smiled at her.

"So, it's true! You really changed a lot!"

I was all smiles before. A bit friendly too.

But that was before.

She exclaimed and gave me a hug. She was sleeping in the car when I went in so she might not notice me. I was on my hoodie a while ago too.

I tapped her back.

"I didn't even know you're a member of this club too."

She said.

"I didn't know I was a member here too."

I joked so she just laughed.

We're not actually close but we used to talk before.

"Help us here then! So, you finally recovered?"

She dragged me and asked to help her set up the tent.

"Yeah."

She was the only one who kept on talking.

I'll just answer her yes or no.

I can also feel mina's gaze from my peripheral vision. She might be wondering.
