Mackenzie was on patrol and Chloe was running errands and they wouldn't be back for a few hours. Leaving him home alone and bored
He decided to call hunter over to hang out for a bit
Hunter: yeah max?
Max: wanna come over? The woggles aren't here!
(Woggles is what me and my friends call adults lol)
Hunter: sure!
Max: ok I'll be waiting for you!
Hunter: alright!
*a few minutes later*
There was a knock at the door
"That must be him!" Said max happily as he went to the door and opened it to hunter
"Hey dude!" Said hunter
"Hey hunter!" Said max as they did their secret handshake (it's too secret for any of ya'll to know)
"Hey let's FaceTime my mum!" Said max
They then picked up the phone
Chloe: hey there hun!
Max: hey mum! Where are you?
Chloe: I'm at the store!
Hunter: hi aunt Chloe!
Chloe: oh hey hunter!
Max: when are you coming home woggle?!
Chloe: I'll be home in about an hour! Your dad said he is gonna call you on break! He is gonna come home late!
Max: oh ok! I'll call you back mum!
Chloe: ok sweetie! I love you!
Max: love you to mum!
They then hung up and did dumb kid stuff until Max's phone began to ring! it was Kenzie!
Max: hey dad!
Mackenzie: hey there boy! What are you doing?
Max: nothing much!
Hunter peeks head on FaceTime
Hunter: HIII UNCLE KENZIE!
Mackenzie: hehehe. Hey hunter!
Max: when are you coming home?
Mackenzie: soon! A little later than usual but don't worry things seem calm today!
Little did they know what was gonna occur
Mackenzie then heard the dispatcher speak on the radio
Dispatch: attention county units Los Angeles officers require 10-32's on MacArthur blvd suspect is armed and is endangering officers and bystanders on officer 10-99
Max: dad what's happening?
Mackenzie gave a smile
Mackenzie: nothing I can't handle my boy. I'll be home soon! I love you.
Max: dad wai-
Mackenzie hung up
"I hope everything is ok." Said max with conern
*at the scene*
The closer Mackenzie got the more shots were heard as more frantic call outs came from the vehicle he already had his ar15 unracked as him and tons of units heading their way. This was something violent.
He arrived and immediately began to take fire his windshield shattering as he drifted to the right and ducked down
He opened his door and took cover
