Chapter 3

(Y/N) was walking through the quiet village. On the way, she found a newspaper on the ground. She then remembered the rumors and what Zoe mentioned. She picked up the dirty crinkled paper and started to read it. She flipped through the pages and found a picture of herself and Red hugging, mostly it was her jumping into the arms of a surprised Red. (Y/N) softly smiled, remembering the day clearly, even though it was only a few days ago. It was her birthday and her friends always made it a special day for her. Red, that day, felt doubtful that the things they were doing weren't enough for her, so (Y/N) hugged him, to show how grateful and how loved she felt.

The thing is, Red is not known for affection, especially in public places. (Y/N) actually has hugged Red in private once in a while, but never in public where other birds were around. (Y/N) read more of the newspaper and started to frown at the words, unfortunately for (Y/N), they weren't a couple. She threw the newspaper into a nearby trashcan and continued to walk under the moonlit sky. As she was walking, she started to hum a song to herself.
