Okay, I just want to talk about RvB Zero. From the first episode, I think I have a good enough idea on how this might go, so here are my thoughts, based purely on first episode.
It fucking sucks.
It looks nothing like Halo, and the dialogue is super boring and so far, plenty of exposition.
It's already a generic macguffin hunt for the generic "ultimate power," which was told to us in the most clunky and lazy way possible.
The villains are just generic and boring bad guys, cold fast girl, dumb big boy, and boring commander trying way to hard. RT thought that having them kill Carolina and Washington would make them look tough, but it had no impact other than "wtf why."
And don't get started on the music! I know it's supposed to be a new generation, but the generic rap just has nothing on the rock that og RvB mastered.
This is just... just boring.
