A/N Sorry this chapters extra shitty I didn't rlly know what to write. Also I'm about to start school again so sorry if I'm not updating as much.

John POV

That was the most awkward conversation I've ever had. Ugh Angelica just whispered something in Eliza's ear. I look at Alex who just act clueless. "Hey guys did you see the new class rooms on the top floor- " Eliza starts but when she raises her cup to point like half her coffee spills on my neck.

"Shit." I say and everyone but Alex kinda smiles to each other.

"Omg John I'm so sorry here let me help you wipe it off." She says and before I can say anything she grabs a handful on napkins and wipes my neck with them and doing so removes some of the concealer.

"HA! I knew it!" Laf shouts.

"Knew w-what?" I ask trying to hide my neck by taking out my hair.

"You guys are dating!" Peggy squeals.

"No, we're not. Why would we be?" Alex says, he's so much better at acting casual.

"Seriously guys we've known for the past 2 months! Me and Herc heard you guys fighting about Jefferson one night when we were getting 'dinner and a movie' and a lot of the time when we said we were going out we weren't and can I just say Y'all loud as hell" Laf explains and We stand there kinda speechless.

"Okay fine we're dating" Alex says stepping closer to me and taking my hand.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Eliza asked

"Cuz there's so much more pressure when everyone knows and every time we have a fight Y'all would over react about it and so we just thought it'd be easier to not tell anyone." I say and just they nod.

"So all that about you being bi and Alex dating Jefferson was...?" Angelica asks.

"All bullshit yeah." I confirm.

"Wait hold on when were you bi?" Laf asks.

"Oh yeah just then, I told Angelica I was bi and in love with here to get her to believe me and Alex weren't dating." I say

"And you guys were okay with each other 'going out' with other guys?" Herc asks.

"No I hated every guy he went out with." Alex says.

"Yeah and I hate Jefferson so much more now." I say and they all laugh.

"But at least now we don't have to hate each other," Alex says and I kiss him while the others roll their eyes.

"Ugh I think I preferred you fighting" Peggy comments.

We finish off our coffee's and we still have like half an hour until we have to go to our next class. "I'm gonna go work on the assignment." Alex says getting up.

"Babe we only got it last week and have until next term and it's only a 3 page essay which we all know you can write in like an hour." I says grabbing his wrist.

"Yeah but I've only got like 5 pages so far and I'm nowhere near finished, you can come if you want." He says

"Fine." I get up as well and we walk up to our room. Alex sits at the desk and pulls out his laptop and starts typing insanely fast. "Lexi you've already got more than you need! Washington's not even gonna wanna read all of it." I groan.

"Yeah but I can't just stop halfway though." He replies.

I wrap my arms around his neck from behind an kiss his cheek, "I'm borrrrreeeeeddddd" I wine.

"I know babe but if I finish this I won't have to do it in the holidays and you'll have me all the time." I sit in his lap, my arms still wrapped around him and kiss all love his face. "John. Why don't you go back down and talk to the others?" He says trying to push my face away.

"Because I love youuuuuuuuuuu." I say and he rolls his eyes. "Don't you love me?" I pout.

"Yes, of course I love you but get ur fat ass off me so I can finish this and if you want we can skip second period to make it up to you." He says. Did he just call me fat? I mean I know he was joking and didn't know, I mean not even Laf and Herc know.

I get up and walk out the door, "John?" I hear him say just as I close the door. I run to the first floor bathroom that no one ever goes in and lock the door. I sit down against the wall and hold my knees and silently sob into my arms.

Alex POV

"John?" I say as he leaves closing the door behind him. I hear him running down the hall. What was that about? One minute he's all over me and the next he's running out of the room. I sigh and close my laptop.

I walk down to the Starbucks and everyone else is still there. "Have you guys seen John anywhere?" I ask and they all look up.

"No, why?" Angelica asks.

"I don't know, one minute he was all over me and the next he just walked out of the room and I heard him running down the hall." I reply.

"Maybe check the bathrooms, classrooms and stuff like that." Laf suggest and I nod and walk off.

I've looked in almost every bathroom, I'm heading to the fist floor now, usually no one goes in here but it's worth a shot. I try to open the door but it's locked. "John are you in there?" I ask.

"Alex, I'll be out in a minute. You can go finish your essay and I'll meet you in second class." He says.

"Babe let me in." I say and I hear him sigh then open the door. I can tell he's been crying. "What's wrong, why'd you leave like that?" I say walking in then closing the door.

"I-I'm sorry I-I over reacted." He says not making eye contact. I put hand under is chin and move his head so he's looking at me.

"Over reacted about what?" I ask, searching in his eyes for some kind of clue as to why he's upset.

"It's nothing." He says quietly.

"John."

"W-when I was going out with C-Charles b-before he was a-abusive he would always c-c-call me f-fat and never let me e-eat anything I wanted too s-so I j-just s-stopped e-eating all together, and I-I ended up I-in h-hospital." He says choking back tears,

"Oh John I'm so sorry" I say trying to hug him but he steps back.

"D-don't y-you hate me n-now?" I asks and the fact that he would think I would hate him over something that's not at all his fault breaks my heart.

"No! Of course I don't. I'm so sorry I shouldn't have said that. You know I love you and I don't care what you look like, that said, you're not fat." I say taking his hands in mine.

"I love you so much, I'm sorry" He says and hugs me while sobbing into my shoulder.

"Shhh, You have nothing to be sorry about." I whisper in his ear and stroke is hair. "Do you wanna stay home today and just watch movies?" I ask and he nods. "Okay lets go." I kiss is forehead and we walk out the door hand in hand.
