Chapter-35
Khusi pov

Standing infront of the golden gate i keep checking the time just to delay the decision of whether to go inside or to go home. My hands continuously fidgeting with my phone.

"Ring! Ring!"my phone starts ringing and my hands fumble to hold it,But thankfully it didn't fall on the ground.

The screen displays the name of the person i was anxious to meet.

"Hello khusi! Where are you?"she asked excitedly.

"I'm just outside of your house"i respond in a quite voice.

"Then Come inside, you will be so happy once you meet all our old friends" she said cheerfully. Our old friends?we hardly have any mutual friend. Maybe she means to say the classmates we used to have classes with.

"That's great, see you in five seconds"i ended the call. Now there is no turning back because she would be upset and moreover he won't get what he wants this time.

I hesitantly pushed the calling bell and immediately a middle aged woman opened the door and without me asking anything she told me to follow her.

She was wearing a blue saree  which looked like an uniform. We passed the living room where two big yellow sofa are colour coordinated with the walls and some pictures of Nivedita over the walls. Just to the left a big open kitchen decorated with bulbs and wine glasses.

We walked straight and passed two closed doors which are opposite of eachother and in the middle slightly opened door from where the sounds of laughing and giggling are coming from.

"Have a nice day" she gave me a smile, a sad smile. Dark circles under her eyes are visible even after using makeup signifying her lack of sleep. Her tired eyes fixed on my face for a response so i nodded my head in reply.

As soon as i entered the room Nivedita came running to me and gave me a hug, Good start i guess.

"We were waiting for you"she was brusting with joy. My eyes roam around the room where five more girls are sitting on the sofa.I can hardly remember the name of the two girls whose faces are known to me and the rest three faces are new to me.

Noticing that they all were wearing dresses and even Nivedita herself is wearing a red skin tight dress with curled up hairs, I felt a little under dressed.

"Let me introduce everyone to you"she said holding my shoulder.

"She is Shivani, the girl who was popular among boys of our class" She gigled. The black off shoulder dress girl who has short hairs weaved at me.

"And she is Avnita aka Avni" the red haired girl wearing a stripless blue velvet dress checked me out from top to bottom and said nothing, she totally ignored my existence.

Their names sounds familiar like i have heared or know something about them in the past but couldn't put my finger on it now.. umm what was it tsk!

"They are kaviya, tasha,Tanu"her voice got in the way of my thoughts "they are my colleagues" the girls stopped staring at me to weave their hands and i smiled in response.

"Nivedita thank you so much for inviting me but I was thinking that club is not my type of place I mean it's not bad but clubing is something i necessarily don't enjoy" i said hoping it won't upset her.
