Charleigh's POV.

Prysillah and I made our way to the door that lead to the basement.

"You ready?" Prysillah asked.

She looked just as nervous as I did.

"Well then, here goes nothing." She said as she turned the nob.

"Locked." She mumbled.

"Here, stand back." She said, as she backed up and kicked the door down.

"Wow, where did you learn that trick?'' i asked.

" I've done alot of stunts during my career." She said.

"Oh." I said.

" Well, then, shale we?" She asked.

"I guess so, to late to turn back now." I said.

We walked into the darkness off the basement stairwell.

We made it down the stairs and into the basement.

Junk was everywhere, it looked like 100 years worth of collection pieces of Jerri's past.

There were suits of armor, old wicker chairs (The kind that would be on board the titanic.), Old chairs hung from the ceiling, and old wooden crates that haven't even been opened yet, they had some strange marks ingraved in them.

"Come on, quick, her coffin. She has to be down here somewhere." Prysillah said.

Prysillah clicked on an old light. that helped a little to see where we were going.

I followed Prysillah through the basement. And we stopped back to back to look over the large area.

I clicked on another light.

It lit it up enough to see more piles of junk in the way.

Now I thought I knew the porpoise of all the junk here; to camouflage wherever the coffin was kept.

We heard a noise that sounded like squeaking.

"What was that?" Prysillah whispered.

"I don't know, you keep searching, I'll cheak it out." I said as I made my way over to where the noise was.

I moved away from Prysillah, to the staircase that we had just descended.

My heart hit my feet when I saw a shadow move across the wall.

clutching my cross, I moved over to the shadow.

It was Adam!

He came slowly down the stairs towards me.

I froze.

He leaned into the wall at the bottom of the stairs.

"Adam?" I asked.

"Yes, it's me." He answered.

"It's me, Charleigh." I said.

"I know." was all he said.

He came a little closer, hissing and showing his new found fangs.

Meanwhile, I shot my glance over to Prysillah, and saw she had found Dandrige's coffin.

"Charleigh! I found it!" She exclaimed.

"Don't be frightened Charleigh." Adam said.

"Hurry Prysillah! Get it open." I yelled.

"I'm trying, she has it locked from the inside." Prysillah said, worriedly.

"What's wrong, Charleigh?....Don't you want me anymore?" He sneared.
