14. First day of school..🧸

Hardin POV

Today is the twins first day of school, they're already 5 it's so crazy, they're so exited and Tessa is freaking out

Tessa.... well our relationship this past few months haven't been the best, we fight... a lot, we really try not to fight in front of the twins but sometimes it's just impossible

Our arguments always start by small random things but finish really bad, I know married people fight but...idk

I love her so much but sometimes she just gets on my nerves, but we have to stop, I really know we are meant for each other

But if we don't stop arguing we are going to finish divorced and that's the only thing I don't want for my kids

I want them to grow up with caring and loving parents. But our relationship right now is so fucked up. All we do is fight and have make up sex

I wake up to Tessa's annoying alarm, she literally set the alarm for 5am, I groan and get my head under the pillow

I'm going to be nice today... I need to be nice, today is the twins first day of school, no matter how annoyed I am, I'm just going to be nice

She opens the curtains and the sun hits my body...... it's ok Hardin, don't get mad, fuck

I get up and walk to the bathroom "good morning to you too" she says annoyed, how am I supposed to be nice if she just acts like a .....

I wash my face, brush my teeth and walk to her "good morning" I tell her fixing my hair

She sights and looks at me, god how could I be mad at such a beautiful woman

I wrap my arms around her and kiss her head "let's not fight today" I whisper, she nods and keeps her head on my chest

I missed this, I really wish every morning could be like this "I love you" she looks up at me and i get lost on her beauty

"Let's wake up the kids" she tells me

"I think we should let them sleep" they were so excited that they couldn't sleep yesterday. Talking of that... Auden's nightmares are getting a little bit better

Well kind of, the good thing is that he doesn't have them every night but the bad thing is that he hates going to the therapist and they are more intense

Oh yeah and how could I forget... emery is scared of the dark. I don't even know when it started but she hates being left alone in the dark

"Let's just wake them up" I nod and we walk to their room, as soon as I walk in I see emery cuddled up in Auden's bed. Auden is hugging her

They are just so cute "awww they are the cutest" tessa says tearing up

I kiss her head and walk to Auden's bed, I get down and slowly kiss their foreheads "good morning"

I shake them and Auden wakes up and looks at us confused

"I need to pee" he gets up and runs to the bathroom

I stroke Emery's hair and whisper sweet things "em you have to wake up" she wakes up and looks at me annoyed, she's not a morning person...

"Then I guess you are not going to school" as soon as I say that she jumps out of bed and starts getting ready

I look at tessa and she's laughing... that laugh, is the laugh I fell in love with, I missed that laugh

"I'm kidding em" I pick her up and walk to tessa, I place a soft kiss on her forehead and emery hugs us

"I'm back" Auden comes running

"Did you washed your hands?" Tessa asks him, and he nods

I put emery down and she hugs Auden tight, squeezing each other's cheek "why do you guys sleep in the same bed when you have your own one?"

They looks at each other and start laughing, I love them so freaking much, I pick them both up and put them on my shoulder

"Daddy down!" Emery and Auden say laughing

I put them down and Tessa changes them to their little outfits, I take my car, go to the nearest store and grab some flowers and donuts for breakfast, and of course coffee for me and tessa

When I arrive back home I hear the twins laughing, I put everything down except for the flowers and walk to tessa

She's brushing emery's hair and fixing Auden's "mommy stoppppppp" Auden tells her annoyed

"buddy you need to fix your hair you can't go like that, I should've cut your hair yesterday" Auden has my same hair in blonde, and he hates cutting it

"No" I hear tessa sight and then she notices me "there you are"

I give her the flowers and kiss her, I hear the twins make a vomit sound and we pull away

"Thank you Babe, they are so pretty" she smells them.... I really don't understand women

"What about me daddy?!" Emery crosses her arms

"I got you guys something better"

"What is it?" Auden asks

"Something to eat, let's finish your hair and then we eat breakfast" I fix Auden's hair, the way I do it every morning and Tessa brushes emery's

"By the way Emery you look gorgeous and you dude... look so handsome" I take them to the kitchen and as soon as they see the donuts they start jumping

"Thank you daddyyyyy" they hug me

"Ok go eat breakfast or you guys are going to be late for your first day!"
