10. Operation..👼

Tessa POV

Emery runs to me and hugs my leg, I don't want her to see me like this, I hate when they see us crying

I pick her up and kiss her forehead "I will be gone for a couple of days, I need you to be a good girl ok?"

She nods "buddy?" That's how he calls Auden, I slightly smile and stroke her blonde hair

"You are going to stay with grandpa and grandma, just you, they are going to play with you" I take a deep breath

"I love you so much" I hug her one last time and put her on kens arm

"Luv yu" she says smiling, god I love her so much, I wish I could stay with her, but I need to make sure my boys are ok

"Keep us informed, and please rest tessa, if you need anything just texts us, everything is going to be okay" Karen hugs me and I hug her back

I take Hardin's car and drive to the hospital, the hole ride I cry and cry, I never imagined my wedding would be like this

I'm so broken, I killed my own father and my two boys are hurt, life is just not fair

When I finally get there I run in and everyone looks at me, I forgot I was wearing my wedding dress, but I couldn't give a fuck less

I run to the secretary "my son and husband must've gotten here 15 minutes ago, I need to see them now"

"You have to relax first" she can't fucking tell me to relax! If she only knew!

"what are there names?" She asks me

"Auden Scott and Hardin Scott" She types on her computer fast

"Your son is going to surgery right now and yo-"

"What?!" I cut her off, Omg no my baby, I need to see him

"I need you to relax ma'am, the doctors know what they're doing" oh god

"In what room is he?!" I need to see him

"I don't know if you can go visit him right now, they're about to start surgery"

"I'm begging you, he's only two" I start crying "I need to see him"

"He's on floor 6, room 6798" I take the stairs and run as fast as I can, when I finally see the number 6798 on the door, I quickly open it

I see Auden asleep, connected to machine, and an oxygen mask. The room is full of doctors and nurses

I run to Auden and hold his little hand
"Ma'am we need you to get out, he's about to get surgery" a doctor tells me and they start moving his bed

"He's my son" I say crying "why is he going to surgery?!" They keep transferring his bed and I follow them, still holding Auden's hand

"His cut got infected and we have to operate now, or we will have to amputate his arm" what no-no this can't be happening

"No- please don't" I say shaking, looking at a nurse who's wrapping a thing around his arm

"He's bleeding out, we need to get him to surgery now" the nurse says

They start running and I cry, I follow them till we get to a door and a nurse stops me

"You can't get in there" she tells me

"I need to be with him!" They push his bed and I cry looking at him, I try to keep walking but she stops me

"We need you to stay here! We don't have time, if you want your son to live just follow the rules!" A doctor shouts to me

I fall to the ground crying "please keep him alive! I'm begging you!" Two nurses help me get up and they take me to a small room

"I-" I cry desperately

"Ma'am we need you to calm down"

"Calm down! How am I supposed to calm down if my son is dying! I don't even know where my husband is! And I killed my own father!!"

I take a deep breath "I'm sorry, today was my wedding and..." I keep crying

"Can I see my husband" I ask them and they look at me shocked

"Yeah" they take me to the other side of the hospital and open a door

When I get in I see Hardin full of bruises and cuts, connect to machines

"T-tess" he whines in pain

I take his hand and stroke his hair "thank god you a-"

He cuts me off "Where's Auden?" he asks clearly in pain, he looks so weak

"H-he is in surgery" my voice cracks and he squeezes my hand "it's bad Hardin" I start crying

I hear him sight, I look at his face and I don't even recognize him, he's full of bruises and stitches

I kiss his hand and just keep crying. After 4 hours of waiting and waiting the doctor comes for the 3rd time

"The operation is taking longer than expected"

"You already said that! You told us the operation would take only 1 or 2 hours!"

"I'm sorry we are doing everything we can, he lost a lot of blood"

"Then do something! I need him.." I start crying and Hardin hugs me

"Is he dying?" Hardin asks and the doctor stays quiet, I cry on Hardin's chest, my baby, I can't lose him
