7. In the dark..🔪

Hardin POV 

I'm so confused tessa just told me Auden is lost... how could he be lost if my dad and Karen were watching him

"Tessa what do you mean?"

"He's lost hardin.." her voice cracks "I searched everywhere and he's no where to be found!" tears roll down her cheeks

"Tess you need to relax" I'm sure he's with someone, she's over exaggerating

I hug her and kiss her forehead "he's probably just playing with someone"

I walk up the stage and turn the microphone on "Hey has anyone seen Auden?" I ask through the microphone

They all stay quite.... I search for his little body but he's no where to be found

"Ok don't panic but he's lost, I'm sure he's just fine, but if anyone sees him please tell us" everyone nods worried

I walk back to tessa and she's crying in Molly's arms

"Hey tess, look at me" she looks at me with tears and hugs me "i promise he's just fine, we're going to search for him and everything is going to be okay"

"It's not ok hardin! He's two, lost and alone!"

"That's why we are going to search for him and he's going to be just fine" molly looks at me worried

"I need everyone to help us search for him!" Everyone nods

Me, tessa, molly and Lucas search for him, while everyone dose the same in groups

I turn my phone flash light on and we call his name

"Auden buddy!" I shout.... no response

I'm actually getting worried, I look at tessa and she's silently crying. It's really dark so we can't see where we are walking

I hold her hand and look at Lucas, he gives me a concern look

"When was the last time you saw him"

"I don't fucking know bro!" He stops and looks at me "I'm sorry" fuck I'm so worried now

"AUDEN!" I shout as loud as I can

"Maybe we should call the cops" Molly says

"Fuck no, they never help, and they will take forever to get here"

We keep walking and walking for 20 minutes while shouting for his name

"Maybe we should go back... we are going to get lost, maybe someone found him" molly says

"You can go back" I look at tessa and she's still crying desperately

"Baby please stop" if she cries I get more stressed and it's not fucking time for that

"H-he" she starts having a panic attack, I hug her

"Shhh just breath.... it's going to be ok I promise" I try to calm her down

"Tessa breath it's ok" molly tells her "let's go back the boys can keep searching for him"

"N-o" it's the only words I hear from her "I need to find him"

"Tess you are so stressed right now just please go back you need to relax, I promise I'm going to find him" I look at the hour and it's 1am

Where the fuck is he?! He wouldn't just run away by his own! I know someone fucking took him

My flash light dies "Fuck!"

Lucas turns his phone flashlight on "it's ok"

We cross a big bush, every time we get further the road gets narrowed. This is seriously fucked up, who took him and why him... he's just two

And then I hear a noise "stop" they look at me confused

"Please tell me you heard that" I ask them

"Hardin I think you are im-"

Then we hear a loud noise, I instantly put tessa behind me.

"Stay with her" I look at them

"No hardin stay please" tessa tells me scared

I kiss her "I will be back"

She nods scared and I follow the noice, I walk for five minutes and then hear a loud noise again, while I'm walking someone knocks me up and I fall to the ground unconscious...

Tessa POV

I'm so worried, Hardin has been gone for 20 minutes, I need to make sure he's okay "I can't do this anymore, he's taking so long"

"you're right, we are going to find him but you girls need to stay behind me and don't separate"

We both nod and keep walking, following a sound, then I hear Auden crying.

I start running but Lucas stops me "tessa, stop" he says whispering yelling

Where is hardin what did they do to my baby, I'm so worried, I keep crying

We get to a huge open place and I see Hardin tied to a tree beaten up, bleeding out and Auden crying next to him

I freeze, this is my worst nightmare, this can't be real, my boys no... I cry and cry. I try to wake up but it's not a dream

I quickly run to Auden and hold him, he cries on my chest "mo-mmy" my baby I feel so bad, he cries loud pointing to his arm and he has a huge cut

Fuck! Just why! I can't believe this is my wedding, I cover his arm trying to stop the blood but it won't stop. He's going to bleed out, I need to get him to the hospital

I look back at molly and Lucas, but they're no longer there....

This can't be real "HELP" I scream while crying, then I feel someone put his hand on my mouth, I slowly turn around and see my dad...
