Draco's POV

Harry, Ginny, and Weasel were waiting for us in the screening room when Hermione and I spotted them.

"We've got to get a flat screen, Harry," Ginny said, lightly tapping his arm.

Harry laughed. "When I told you about it, you thought it was going to explode."

"That was before I met Twilight!" she exclaimed. "Robert Pattinson foes look amazing on screen, and so familiar. Who does he look like?"

"Well, aren't you all so cozy?" I asked.

Ron immediately sat up from the couch and cleared his throat. "Cozy my arse!" He fluffed the pillows behind him and shuffled around. "This is the most uncomfortable couch I've ever sat on."

I smirked and sat down across from Harry and Ginny. Hermione sat next to me and took my hand in hers. Awkward silence filled the room.

Harry broke the silence. "I saw your Quidditch room," he said. "That's quite the broom collection you've got."

I shrugged. "My dad thought buying me the newest models would redeem him from his terrible job as a father." Hermione looked at me and squeezed my hand, filling me with warmth. I looked back at Harry. "Well, we have a quidditch pit, so we should play sometime. You, too, Ginny, and Ron... if you'd like." Ron looked up, surprised he was even part of the conversation. He shrugged.

Hermione looked at him and her eyes didn't leave him. I felt mad. Jealousy, was it? I flicked my eyes toward Ron and back at her. Was she going to stop staring at him? Before I could say anything to distract Hermione from staring at Ron, Minnie walked in.

"Dinner is ready, Sir Draco."

I nodded. "Thank you, Minnie," I muttered.

Harry got up and clapped his hands together and rubbed them.

"I'm starving," Ginny said.

Harry smirked. "That's what happens when you're eating for two."

Hermione gasped and Ron snapped his head at Harry. "Harry!" Ginny exclaimed, slapping his arm so loud, and echo filled the room.

Still, I didn't get what they meant. Hermione walked up and hugged Ginny while Ron and Harry shared a handshake.

I stood in the middle of the room. "I don't understand." Hermione laughed and GInny let out a giggle. Harry and Ron looked at me, appalled.

Wait, starving....eating for two? Oh My God.

"You're PREGNANT?" Ginny laughed at me and Hermione slapped my arm almost as hard as Ginny did Harry. Ginny nodded. "Congratulations, Potters'."

"Took you that long to figure it out, huh?" Harry said.

"Idiot," Ron muttered under his breath. I did my best to ignore his remark, though it took everything to not punch him square in the face.

We sat down at the dining table, and they were right. Ginny ate half of the food, and was still going. Hermione smiled and laughed along with her friend, rejoicing in the joy of the news revealed.

"How long now?" Hermione asked.

Ginny laid back, Harry's arm loose around her shoulders. "About 6 weeks now. We didn't find out until 2 weeks ago, and we weren't going to say anything yet, but this stupid idiot right here ruined it."

Harry smiled. "Well, to be honest, I forgot it was a secret."

We all laughed. I barely ate from all the laughter that filled the room. Hermione reached out her hand and held mine. Harry's eyes darted between us and then he looked at me. His smile no longer lingered, but a serious look occupied his eyes. I nodded. He relaxed a bit, and a promise was just made. I was going to take care of Hermione. Forever.

After dinner, everyone retired to their rooms, although I tried to place Potter in a closet. "What memories that must bring!" Hermione elbowed me, but Potter laughed. At least the man's got a sense of humor. I escorted Hermione to her room, which coincidentally, was right next to mine.

"You know, we could just share the same bed," I smirked. Hermione laughed.

"You can stay with me for a bit, but then you've got to go," she ordered.

We sat on the gold embroidered bed-framed bed and she laid in my arms. She cuddled up close, her head on my left bicep, head to my chest, and my chin laid on her forehead. I played with her hair with my left hand while she held my right, comparing our hand sizes. "I don't know how our hands fit so well together when yours are ten times the size of mine."

I laughed. "We were just made for each other."

She giggled. "What?" I asked.

"Nothing," she laughed. "It's just, if someone told me you were a romantic back in our Hogwarts days, I never would've believed them."

I smirked. "I hid it well."

"You hid a lot of things well," she said.

A silence overwhelmed the room. "Hey, I've got a question for you."

She shifted her head up to mine. "What is it?"

I sighed. "Do you still have feelings for Ron?"

She pulled back a bit. "What kind of feelings are you talking about?"

"Well, you know, like the longing for him? Do you miss him? Do you regret leaving him?" I hesitated to say the next part. "Do you still love him?"

Hermione looked away. "Do I miss him? No. Do I regret leaving him? No. Do I still love him? Yes."

I pulled back, but before I could say anything else, she placed her hand on my face. "He is my friend, and my first love. A part of me will always love him." I squirmed. "Hey, no. Look at me. My love for him and for you is different. I love him like family.w I love you like my whole world." She looked deep into my eyes, softly. "I love you so much, no other man would ever make me turn my head to look at you. It's you now, and it will be you always."

I brought her to my chest and embraced her. I wanted to hold her forever. "I love you too."

She fell asleep in my arms, and I couldn't help but trace her entire face with my fingers. She was just so delicate, I had to just softly touch her face, her eyes. Her nose. Lips. I smiled softly, just staring at the beauty in my arms. I slowly got up, keeping my promise. That when she slept, I'd go to my own room.

As I walked to the door, I couldn't help but notice an owl silently perched on the windowsill. So silently, it stood there. I opened the window and the bird dropped a little note in my hand.

We've got some unfinished business to talk about, Just you and me. Meet me at the Silent Bar at 5:00pm tomorrow. You wouldn't want to know what would happen if you don't come. It would be in your best interest if you came alone. -C
