A werewolf that helped a girl love once again

Part 10

Mom : your so dead little girl!
As my mother came at me with the knife, I picked up corbyn and ran to the back door. I ran out of the house into the woods. I was crying as I felt the blood rushing into my hands. He seemed like he was fine. But he wasn't healing. We made it to my cave I ran in fast and lied corbyn on the ground.
You : why isn't  healing?
I cited as he looked into my eyes. I wrapped my arms around him as tears filled my eyes.
He didn't move until I wiped away his blood.
You : why aren't you healing!?
He didn't have any noise come out of him. I stared to worry. I closed my eyes and put my face in my hands. Suddenly I felt like something was entering my mind.
??: I'll be ok
I looked at Corbyn who was still, but had his eyes closed. I did the same and let whatever it was take over my mind.
~in my mind~
You : corbyn, is that you?
??:yes
You : how are yo-
Corbyn: don't worry about it
He sounded like a little kid, like my age
You : how do I heal you
Corbyn: you can't
You: what!
Corbyn: the blade she used had fire among it, I can heal from fire.
You: are you even a wolf
Corbyn: I'm a-
You : your not safe with me Corbyn, you can't stay here!
Corbyn:I'll be fine.
You : no I'm in danger and so are you! We can't risk anything!
His voice began to crack
Corbyn: but I'm supposed to protect you
You : you've protected me enough, now let me be the protector.
I reached my hands out with my eyes still closed and held on to his white fur.
You: run as far away from this place, please!
I could feel him take a deep breath
Corbyn: remember me!
~end of mind~
I opened my eyes and he was gone. I curled up in a ball and cried not feeling his warm presents. I looked up into the sky almost seeing him in the stars. I was heartbroken that he was gone. But he's safe now, right. I closed my eyes and laid down on the cold rock beneath me and thought about corbyn in my dreams

This was a little sad hopefully the next chapter won't be as sad as this one
