Chapter 22

I'm not the type to commit suicide. I dropped the piece on the ground. He held me. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'll make it up to you I promise. Don't ever do that to me." He said whispering in my ear. "Why don't you just take me out of my misery instead of doing this to me? Hum? You don't care about me! Please take me home!!" I shouted. "Alright. But please don't do anything stupid." He said. "I won't. Just take me home. Please." I beg. He nods. He pecked my lips and took my hand. We walked out his house and got in his car. He then drove us to my house. "I'll pick you up tomrrow for school." He said. "No thanks. I'm not going to school." I said as I got out the car. He followed me out. "Baby please". He said. I looked at him. "No! Leave me alone. You screwed me over just like the other girls at the school. Have fun. I'm not going to be a part of that." I say and walk in my house. I looked out the window. He balled up his fist and stormed towards his car. I broke down then.

I took a shower and got ready to have a marathon of romance movies. I put on pjs and got some tissues along with snacks. I sat down and started watching 'The Notebook'. I looked at my phone and picked it up. I looked at my contacts. I clicked on his. I wanted to talk to him but my mind wouldn't let me. I just can't seem to press the little phone button which was bright green. I closed his contact. 'That's right. Listen to me. You should just think of yourself. Do what's best for us. He's heartless. You shouldn't think of him. He doesn't care about anyone but himself.' My consious was right. If he did, he would've showed up last night after promising to do so. I sighed and grabbed my phone once again. I pulled up her number.

"Hello." She said. "Hey Raini." I say. "Hey. What's up?" She asked. I sucked in a breath. "You were right." I say. "Oh. That." She said. "Yeah. That. I'm sorry. Am I bothering you?" I asked. "No. I'm just at this party. He's here so I thought you might be here also." She said. "We...uh...we broke up." I tell her. "He cheated didn't he?" She asked. "Like it wasn't his last." I say holding back my tears. "Let it out. I'll be over and were getting you ready for this party. It starts in an hour so. When I come you better not be moping around in pjs." She laughed. I laughed also. She always knew how to cheer me up. Along with him. "Okay. I'll see what I have." I say. She chuckled. "Okay and I'll approve. Be there in 10." She said. "Hey can you maybe help me get my car later?" I asked. She aggreed. "Of course. See you soon." She said and hung up. I smiled and got up. I went up the stairs knowing I forgot something. Halfway up them, I turn around and get my gogurt. Can't leave without it.

She paced around me. "Lose the jacket and put on heels. You look smokin' " she winked. I blush. "Thank you." I say. I take off my jacket and put on the heels she wanted. I had on a red sparkling tight dress. It really short but it covered my areas. My chest was in full view. I took a breath and a spin. "Alright lets go." I say. She smiled and we left. When we got there it was crazy. As soon as we walked in all eyes were on me. The dj stopped playing music and looked at me too. It was quiet. All eyes except for the pair I wanted to be on me were on me. He was looking down at something. She whispered something then walked away. The music started playing once again. People walked over to the dance floor and started dancing. Some chick walked over to him. She hugged him and he hugged her back as he smiled. She pulled away and sat on his lap. I guess he moved on already. "Nice ass." Someone said behind me. I turned around to see Jake. "Hey." I smiled at him. I took his hand and walked over to the dance floor with him. He smiled and we started dancing.
