Chapter 19

I woke up and I felt so alone. It was dark and cold. It was like 4㏂ and I was freezing. My covers weren't even working for me. Everything that happen was just replaying in my head. The time and effort I put into it. I spent 3 hours trying to look good for someone who didn't even show up. I should've listened to them all along. But why do I feel this way? Its like even if I wanted to scream and shout at him, I can't. I felt ice cold and I was frozen into place. I have two hours to sleep. I turned over tried to do so.

I woke up and 7. I instantly jumped out of bed. I took a shower and blow dried my hair.I looked at my options. I put on my short shorts and a hang off shoulder top that said "Heartbroken" written on the chest. I was not even feeling in going to school at all but my mom would probably say some stuff. I quickly put on some wedges that went with my top. Pink and black. Nice. Atleast my shorts were dark. I put on light makeup and some chapstick. I swung my bag over my shoulder and made my way downstairs. "Breakfast?" She asked. I put on my shades and grab an apple. "No thanks." I say. "I have to tell you that I will be gone this weekend. I'll be back Tuesday." She said. "Oh? Okay." I say emotionlessly. "Bye sweetie. Have a nice day!" She said behind me. I took my keys off the hook and went out the door.

Everything was in slow motion. All the guys winking and smirking at me. I ignored and kept walking until I was at my locker with my new best friend Jackson. "What?" I asked rolling my eyes. I then seen Jake aporoach. "How was the party last night?" They asked. "What party?" I asked. "You know. Lily's party. Ross was there so I thought you might've been there too." He said. This made my blood boil. He promised me he'd pick me up to go on our anniversary date but ditched to go to some skank's party!? "I seen all the outfits. Yours fits perfectly." He said checking me out. "Okay please stop." I say shielding myself a bit. "Did you hear about this?" Jake said pulling out a video. As I was about to approach and see it, he came over.

The boys walked away. "Hey babe". He said leaning in for a kiss. I turn my face so his lips landed on my cheek. I then got a waft of perfume. I felt sick. I opened my locker and put my bag in it. "What's wrong?" He asked. "What's wrong!? Your what's wrong! You stood me up last night after you promised me you'd be there." I say facing him now. "I didn't promise anything." He said. My throat ran dry. Just then miss pom poms walked over. "Hey Ross". She smiled. I looked at her in disgust. "I had an amazing time last night." She winked and walked away. "Is that all I am to you? It was our anniversary and you didn't show up for us to be together! Then you promised yesterday but now your telling me you didn't!? You ditched me to go to a party!? Well I hope that party was worth it because were done!" I said as my tears started to pour out. He picked me up and brought me into the janitor's closet.

"I got caught up. I'm sorry." He whispered. He then wiped off my tears. "Don't cry. I'm sorry." He kissed my forehead. I grabbed his collar. "You cheated on me didn't you!?" I asked as I forcefully pulled myself away. He didn't answer. He just looked at me. "Look at me and tell me the truth!" I shouted. "No! I did not even come in contact with her until this morning!!" He said now clearly upset. "I forgot and I'm sorry about that. Its just 3 months. Its not a big deal." He said. This sunk in deep. "Might as well push me in front of your car and run me over." I said and turned to leave. That's when things took a turn for me. "Let go!" I said pulling as hard as I could. "Sssh..." He said.
