"You look beautiful babygirl" my dad said standing in my doorway.
"Thanks Dad"
"Now, don't go out and get wild cause you got on this lil makeup. Don't make me show up at that school" I rolled my eyes playfully.
"Trust me. Raymond would beat my behind before I can even get home"
"My boy Ray" he said smiling causing me to shake my head. It's crazy how his liking towards him changed completely "Come on. Your date is here" he said. I nodded and grabbed my clutch with my phone and id and money just in case. My mama always said take your own money when you go out with a dude just incase he try to play you.
We walked downstairs to be met with everyone. Alexis, Tyreik, Nevaeh, Damien, Raymond, and Kaitlyn all stood around the foyer having pictures snapped randomly. My mom, my grandma, Alexis's stepdad, a woman I dont know, and a woman and man who are probably Kaitlyn's parents stood around taking pictures.
"Finally! I thought you backed out of it" Zion said when I walked up to him.
"No.. My sister would have beat me down" I said quietly but loud enough for him to hear.
"That's my mom" he said pointing to the lady I didn't know. I nodded. "My dad got called in for an emergent surgery" Did not know that his dad was a doctor. "My mom takes pictures tho and she has a few appointments so this needs to be quick, easy, and cute" I nodded again as we walked outside.
We all walked outside and began to take group pictures, couple pictures, and individual pictures around our front yard. We just got our landscaping done in the front so it was fresh, and bright flowers around.
"Alright auntie. I think we should get going" Kaitlyn said causing all of us to agree.
"Alright guys. Be safe. No drinking. No recklessness. Enjoy your night and be safe again" Mrs. Loraine, Zion's mom, said.
