Secret Existence (A Harry Potter Fanfic)

Chapter 3 Welcome To Hogwarts~The Grand Sorting

So, I'll skip the train ride, all you need to know is that I sat with Ron
and Harry. I'll start with my sorting.

     When I sat down, the hat was place don my head. "You, my dear are a secret,
a special one to be sure." It's nasty voice whispered in my head. It sent
shivers down my spine.

    "Please," I thought, "Let me go where my parents and Uncle Sirius were."

     The hat spoke slowly, "But you are smart, and cunning. I'm not sure."

     "Please!" I whispered, Only two people heard me; Snape and Dumbledore. The
hat yelled out, "Gryffindor!"

     "Happy now?" I heard it mutter darkly.

     "Yes!" I murmured, but no one heard me over the applause. I skipped to the
table and sat by Ron's family. I could just tell that they were great people.
They all smiled brightly at me.

      Then was Harry, no one made a sound. I read his lips and saw him saying,
"Not Slytherin." He kept repeating it. When it said Gryffindor, I beamed. I
caught Dumbledore's eye and I knew at that moment that he was definitely my
brother. After dinner, I waited and followed Dumbledore. He knew I was there,
but he didn't say a word. Stupid wizard. We got to his office and he sat down.

     "Why wouldn't you let us talk?! He's my brother! I have a right to know
him!" I spat at the calm old man.

     "You've always known he existed, always known what you are. He knows very
little. He already has so much in his future. Please, don't tell him, not yet."
His voice didn't change as he gestured for me to sit. I wasn't done.

     "Yes, lets make everything better by lying! He's already miserable,
clueless, and confused! Let's make make all that better by lying more! Are you
serious?! He deserves the truth! I was taught that it's wrong to do something
that will hurt others! How's he gonna feel when he finds out we lied to him!? I
want to know my brother!" I yelled, throwing everything in my sight.

    "I can't explain now, but please, keep this a secret." He was begging me.

     I stormed out, forgetting I had no idea where to go. Luckily, after running
around a bit, I found Sir NIck.

     "Sir Nick!" I yelled. He turned around.

     "Sky, what a surprise!"

     "Could you help me? I was talking to Dumbledore and left. I forgot I didn't
know where I was going." I told him the truth, skimming over the details.

     "Of course!" He smiled.

     After a while, I got to my room. My roommates were already there: Hermione,
Pavarti, and Lavender. There was an empty bed; it would be filled next year.
Hermione was reading and the other two were gossiping. This was gonna be a crazy
year. Only Hermione looked up. I plopped down on my be and closed my eyes. I
felt someone on the bed near me.

     "Are you and Harry related? You look similar, and have the same last name."
A voice asked.

"How could we be?" I lied, "We met in Diagon Alley." Hermione kept bugging me
till I snapped.

     "Gosh, do you ever shut up? I don't think so! Go away, I'm tired!" She left
and I fell into a deep sleep.

Hey! Hope you like this!I do! This chapter shows her in an angry way. You'll soon learn she's very umm moody. Hehe. She is sort of like me and my friends mixed together in 1 person. Its a scary thought.
