Akaashi walked over to the lake and sat down. His legs were hanging off and the toes of his boots were only slightly touching the water. He had his phone in his hand and tears on his face.
Who was he texting?
His boyfriend.
The same boyfriend who hadn't responded to him in months. So...why was he still trying?
He missed him. He was only a third year in high school. His boyfriend was already in collage. It pained him that he wasn't-- couldn't be with him. They lived on different sides of the country. Bokuto had promised Akaashi that when he left for collage he would call him everyday. Turns out that was a lie.
...
Akaashi felt someone hug him from behind. He flinched at the contact.
"Who?-"
"Shh..its just me."
That voice!...
"Bokuto-san!..."
Akaashi smiled and turned around. Messy hair, golden eyes, bright smile..tears? Akaashi nearly jumped up to kiss Bokuto. Bokuto laughed through their kiss. He pukled away and cupped Akaashi's face. Akaashi sighed and hugged him again.
