"Huh?" I heard Ray say and I coughed hard so my dad wouldn't hear me.
"Wassup nigga" uncle Jonathan said as he walked into the kitchen and they talked. My dad walked in the kitchen and did the same.

My momma took her earrings off.

I removed myself from the room and walked upstairs into Asiyah room.
I sat in the rocking chair and watched her sleep, the door opened and it was ray.
"Cmere" he told me and I got up and he held me in his arms and kissed my forehead and my tears came out.

I wiped my tears and turned around and saw Asiyah waking up.
