Aysia POV

     I was pulling up at the stoplight just driving back from Kieran's school his Aunt was picking him up later so I am getting the day off and doing some important stuff. I thought of my studio apartment its been a year but maybe my bank account paid off the apartment.

I don't have the key anymore but everyone knows a bobby pin could help. I drove to the apartment and as soon as I stepped one foot on the wooden floors I cried. The blindfold that was used on me from Shang was on my counter. My bed was unmade just left the way it was when my kidnapping happened.

I played my voicemail.

[Aysia's Dad]

  "Hey baby girl , I um I haven't heard from you or Aaliyah or your mother in a while let me know if you need anything and tell your mom to call me I miss her I really do".

I sighed Thinking about my mother gave me another heart ache as if I couldn't breathe its still shocking how my Father doesn't Know about my mothers Death, Yes they are divorced but he had to know that Naomi was crazy, unless Naomi isn't my fathers child some other man.

[College Administration]

   "Hello, miss Norwood we'd like to let you know that your college account has been on pause since there's been no activity , you need only need 95 credits more to graduate and get your degree so please consider."

    I guess that's all I really needed to do Anger filled my thoughts if I would've been more careful I could've had my shop right now and Angelo would've never did what he done to me. Tears filled my eyes once more I sat on the couch and held on to my pillow . I shouldn't be crying I need to stop depending on people and stop looking back at the past.

  I wondered around the apartment and grabbed some DVD's to watch once I go back to shang's house. I stepped out locked the door from the inside and made my way outside. I seen Trey walking out with some boxes. I was in my car so I honked at him to get his attention.

     He flashed his sharp smile and walked towards the car. "Hey Beautiful". I smiled "Hi Trey". He looked around "What are you doing over here"? "I uh I live here what about you"? He showed me the box "My ma she lives here I was just grabbing my highschool stuff from the place". I nodded "I could give you a ride "? He shook his head "its fine I got my B over there he pointed towards his BMW ".

My eyes widen "Nice Car". He smiled maybe I could give you a ride in it sometime? "I like my Lexus though".

He peeked his head in my window and said "so what was the number"? I laughed "I don't recall you asking"? He nodded "So , you don't wanna go out tonight "? I smirked " let me see your hand".

   He gave it to me and grabbed a pen out of my purse.  Then I wrote my number on his hand. He smiled cheesy. "Feels like highschool again"!

    "Mhum". He backed up from my window. "So at six"? I nodded. "Be ready Sia ". I got chills it reminded me of Angelo.  I smirked then drove off.

   It was 4:15pm now and Kie was still at his Aunts house I decided to call her and ask if he can spend a night tonight and she agreed that I needed some time off. Trey had called first so I could give him the address. I haven't been on a date in years I was always so admitted to Angelo , I said a prayer before getting ready.

   I didn't want to dress too exposed so I layed out  my black cut out dress and hopped in the shower. I put on my dress then applied make up and styled my hair.

The phone rung , and it was shang.. For the first time he called me. I mean what other person in jail would call me. The phone was at its second ring and I debated if I should answer.

The doorbell had rang which caused me to jump a little. I smiled "Coming"! I walked casually to the door and opened it. It was Trey. I felt Trey looking at me and he was stuttering over his words I was blushing. "Hope you don't mind if my brother and his girl tag along"?

     He handed me a dozen roses. "Your just too sweet". I laughed a little. He put his hand out "you ready "? "Yeah let me just lock the door". He placed his hand on my lower back and walked us towards the door of his BMW. The door was opened for me and I sat in the car. As soon as he got in he sat for a second and introduced me to his brother and his brother's date.

    While we were driving it was silent in the front seat his brother was laughing it up and his girl giggling in the back seat. "So tell me , Why aren't you taken"? I looked at Trey his smile had faded.

   "Well I was married but , she passed away".. "I'm sorry". "No no its okay Aysia ". I nodded. " why aren't you taken"? I froze for a second. "Um, Well I was with someone but we had problems and stuff". He looked back for a second "well I'm here to make up those problems".

I blushed once more and then his brother , Shawn was smirking and yelling out "Aw , Tre-Tre found love"! Trey looked back "Shut up"!

I laughed then Trey smiled at me "What are you laughing for girl"? He asked playfully and tickled my neck, His hand brushed against my scar from Angelo. He pulled away and I put my head down acting like I was on my phone.

Hopefully we were on our way.
