The heavy weight was still on my body as I tried to lift one eye . " Hello " I said with my raspy voice . I felt a soft hand hold my hand " Where am I , Who are you " ? The womanly voice spoke " I'm Northa , your nurse .. you came back from the war last week , and you just now woken up from your coma ". My head ached " What "? She rubbed my arm " Try not to move too much you lost a lot of blood ". I opened my eyes wider " I I what happened ". Northa continued " I'm sorry I can not say Dr.Renesis haven't told me he'll be in here though ". I closed my eyes again and spoke " What is today "? She looked up from the clipboard " June 26th . " I scoffed " Can you tell me what's the damage "? Dr.Renesis walked in with a bigger clipboard in his hand " Trey Wade "? I answered " Yes ," He continued " a bullet went through your hearts outer tissue layers , its stuck and .... terminal ". I closed my eyes at his vocabulary " Well doc. that's a big word " . I smiled a little then it faded away at his serious face . " So what now "? He paused " 2 ". I grunted " 2 " ? Dr. R continued " 2 to 3 months ". I kept my head up " I'm still able to walk right "? He began " you should be ". He left out the room . I lifted my head and began to bend my torso and a sharp pain left . I groaned " can I get some help ". I waited five minutes then raised my voice " I said can I get some damn help"! A nurse rushed in she had a wheel chair .
I shook my head " No , I can't I'm going to see my mother in three days and I can't let her think something's wrong ". The nurse nodded " Crutches "? I nodded " yes thank you ". I coughed " What country are we in "? She smiled " America , California , Los Angeles ."
I nodded and got out of the bed with her support . She flashed a smile and I smiled back " Thank You " . She was gorgeous . I read her name tag and it read " Trinity ". She had mocha skin with a bright smile and a slim figure . I stuttered before talking " I'm Trey .. Tre-" She laughed alittle " I know who you are Mr.Wade ".
She pat my shoulder and helped me to the Lobby . " I asked is there someone taking me to the house "? She continued " That'll be me .. I'm your personal nurse for the weekend ". I stood on the crutches " Oh ".
