Aysia POV

The only fact that I don't get is the part when I walked in the house and everything was normal . No one asked about what I did this morning . I guess this means I'm safe but I can't take any chances I need to get Aaliyah and go.

I sat on the bed thinking of what to do next . Everyone is sleep I mean of course they would be its 1am in the morning . I couldn't sleep knowing that my death is planned in this house . I grabbed my laptop and started looking for plane tickets back to L.A . We could leave at 4 and be at the LAX by 9am . After browsing I purchased two tickets and tiptoed to Aaliyah's room .

I whispered "Aaliyah ". She moved around and faced towards me. I touched her arm . "Aali ". She nodded her head in response . " Look we got to go , Dad is out in L.A. ". Her face had excitement and her voice became louder , " Really "!

"Yeah , so we gotta go big sis". I smiled she quickly rose up and began to pack her stuff quietly . I looked at her "I'll be done in 30mins we will leave at 2:15". She nodded then rushed her self to the bathroom to get dressed . Minutes later I had went to the kitchen to take some vitamin waters and Grandola bars . Aaliyah sat all of her stuff in the living room and called uber to come pick us up .
We sat on the bar stools and ate cereal but for a second we heard moving upstairs . Aaliyah and I both thought it was Erwin getting ready to walk downstairs but it wasn't it was just him and his house maid getting it on . I brought my bags out . As soon as I did there was the cab pulling in we ran outside before there was even time for the driver to honk .

While we were in the cab , Aaliyah began to Ask questions . "So when did dad tell you he was in L.A "? I stopped for a second to grab the letters . "That's the thing he didn't , in fact he didn't even call ". she just stared at me . " I needed a reason to get you out of bed and while we were in Erwin's house I couldn't actually tell you" . Aaliyah's face became puzzled . " Here read these and look at this ". I gave her the letters and the necklace . " Why didn't you tell me that you and Shang weren't an actual thing " ? I looked up " I couldn't he said if I did he would ". I showed her the killing gesture .
She nodded and began to hug me , we haven't had a sisterly bond together in a while and now that we both know Erwin and who ever is after us we have to stick together no matter what .

Tears began to form in my eyes but I held them back . Aaliyah wiped them away from my eyes and opened her mouth . " So what are we going to do in L.A ". I opened my eyes " Well I'm going to confront Shang and You are going to have to get Dean to help us I don't know how but you guys love each other and need to be together ". She rolled her eyes at me and began to talk but I put my hand up to let her know I was done with this conversation .

As soon as we reached the airport I walked to the front desk and gave them our tickets . Minutes later we were on the plane about to lift off .

I opened the door to my Apartment . "Home sweet home Aaliyah ". I walked in and sat the bags down as she walked in . Aaliyah just sat on the couch and sighed . "I guess I'll try to call dean ". she suggested , I nodded " yeah I'll go visit Shang in a while ". Aaliyah began to close her eyes and eventually fell asleep on the couch and walked in my room and eventually did the same.

I walked in the prison and greeted Mr.Brown , a security guard .I could never take him seriously because of his ashy knees and shorts that are incredibly short with this huge golden badge that brings out his big hazel eyes . Especially when he runs over to the inmates and slaps them with his whistle .

He smiled at me and showed to the tables . I looked around and there was Shang with the biggest grin on his face . I guess he thought this was going to be a friendly conversation well he guessed wrong .
I waited for Shang to walk to the table and stood up in the process . " Aren't you going to sit down Aysia "? I put on my most serious face and threw down the envelopes . " Explain ".

He laughed in my face " Or what your going to kill me " ? I gave him the really look . He shrugged and pulled the envelopes to his side . I looked at him . He looked back up " What is this anyway " ? I hovered over the table " Don't act like you don't know " ? He sighed and began " Look ".

I stared at him until he started talking . " Aysia everything that I said in the beginning was just a script for me to follow okay " . I nodded and began to sit. " Your stepdad is my boss and I was supposed to give you to my father so he could take you to your stepdad ". I looked at him again . " But now I don't wanna deal with Mr. Divine , you were my target but I caught feelings for you ". he grabbed my hand . " Aysia I love you and I wouldn't want to hurt you . I stared at him and began to cry " Shang I love you too , but I need safety Shang and while your in prison you can't provide that ".

He nodded and looked at me , it felt like .. like as if he was staring at my heart and feeling my thoughts . I began to blush . He whispered " , I want you .. because you can understand me in a way no one else can , you bring out the gentleness in me , and in this lifetime I need that ". As soon as I heard those words I immediately hugged him .

I rubbed his back " your a great friend ". He gave me a puzzeled look and I nuzzled his nose . " I'm just kidding " . He smiled at me . I looked at him "but for you to keep this from me we got to fix these trust issues " .

He looked at me " Of course " . He wrapped his arms around me and tickled my side . I laughed and pulled away .
He became that serious down for Shang and sat me down at the table . " What now what do we do about Erwin " ? I placed my hand on my head . " I'm not sure ".
