My stomach ached as it growled for me to feed it anything; I walked in the kitchen to see Xavier having a cup of coffee. He looks up at me, chuckling quietly to himself. Last night Samuel stayed up with me until my stomach decided it couldn’t puke any longer. Afterwards Samuel took me to my room and he went to his, oddly I kept thinking about the time Ale found me sick in the restroom.

Samuel had many characteristics like Ale, I had to admit he reminded me of him a lot. I grabbed a bottle of water chugging it down as fast as I could. I felt a relief at the bottom of my stomach, but emptiness from where it was lacking food.

“I need food.” I whimpered, opening the cabinet.

Xavier hovered over me grabbing the waffle mix. “Go sit down, I’ll make you food.” He ordered me.

I didn’t make a fuse, I did what he said. He pulled out the rest of the ingredients and the waffle pan preparing the food. It was the first time Xavier actually cooked for; when we lived at home I was the one that always cooked.

“Well good morning sickness,” I heard his annoying voice.

I slammed my head on the table flicking him off. “Leave me alone,” I snapped at him.

“Is that how you are going to treat me after I took care of you?” He yawned.

“I see you two met each other already,” Linda spoke out.

I picked up my head giving her a look; she was still in her p.js. She grabbed the coffee maker making more coffee for herself. She then turned around giving Xavier a kiss on the cheek, before paying full attention to us.

“He is a dear,” I grumbled, glaring at him.

“She’s a fat-ass, now I understand why you bought so much food,” he smiled kindly at me.

I grabbed a pear from the basket launching it at him, he ducked letting it smash onto the wall before plopping on the ground.

“Jerk!”

Linda rolled her eyes and picked up the pear from the ground. “I thought it would be nice for you to have someone to talk beside Xavier and I.” She commented.

I gave her a “are you being serious?” look, we both knew why she asked Samuel to live with us. She didn’t want me to keep waiting for Ale, but Samuel only kept reminding me how much I missed him. I sighed, reclining my head back on the chair.

Xavier placed a plate of food on the table; he gave my shoulder a squeeze. “Eat, you’ll feel better.” He smiled.

I nodded gobbling down the scrambled eggs and bacon he made. Samuel stood by the entrance of the kitchen watching me in delight. He was enjoying mocking me, why couldn’t he be nice, and just mind his own business, why did I have to be his target?
