Author's POV
Jackson sat in front of Jeongyeon.
"Is it really you? But the voice sounded like an old man.", Jeongyeon asked.
"Can't I fake my voice? It's really easy to do that."
"Then what is it that you want to tell me? Do you really have something to tell me, huh?"
"I do have. You didn't tell Nayeon about this, right?"
Jeongyeon nodded.
"I will just make this short. I will tell you this because you became my friend. I may be sounded mad the last time we met, but I'm okay now.", Jackson sincerely said. "And for you to understand, the number I was using for calling you is my Grandfather's number. You met him, right? He didn't know I was calling someone whenever I would borrow his phone.", he added.
It was an intense night that Jeongyeon can't wait for anything that Jackson has to say.
"So I want you to know that" ..
Jackson said what he wanted to say and left Jeongyeon alone at the café right after the truth came out.
Jeongyeon came out at the cafe, stunned. She didn't know what to say and what to do. She pulled out the phone from her pocket and called Dahyun.
